A/N: The video above will give you an idea of what Graysen plays on the guitar. Also I don't have much knowledge on guitar so if the information about it is wrong lmk <3
I need a job. I will not survive homeless that's for sure. I need to find a job soon because I still have to pay my bills. I also can't live without alcohol and cigarettes, so...
If I have to work at McDonald's, fine.
It's been about a week since I gave that Niall guy my number. He's texted me once but I never responded because i'm a lazy bitch, and I may or may not have trust issues.
I actually picked up my clothes from the laundromat today. Surprising isn't it? I've actually got clothes to wear.
I threw on a Nirvana tee and some ripped jeans, because I want to be just like cool kids *sarcasm*. I may be 22 but these clothes aren't stopping me from looking like a 19 year old with a shitty attitude. I left my hair down even though It looks like I literally just woke up. I have no patients for my hair, it is an ungodly red color and very long. I don't know why I haven't cut it yet.
I grabbed my skateboard and my jacket, deciding to leave my phone here. I also always have cigarettes and a lighter in my pocket.
I mean, I would drive, I have a car. But I can't drive it for 3 reasons.
1: I lost my license doing donuts and burnouts in a church parking lot.
2: My car was stolen twice by a couple a punks who removed my radio, and took off my back tire.
3: It's been sitting in the police station parking lot for a good 3 months.
That's why I walk or skateboard. Although it's not very fun walking a mile to wherever I'm going everyday so that's why I skateboard. I'm also too poor for an Uber.
My idea of finding a job is walking around till I find a building with a big 'HIRING' sign in the window. That's how I found my last job.
I don't have the best technology so I don't really have a source like Google to find jobs that are hiring. It's also really fun to tell people I don't have an Iphone and watch them go on and on about how having an Iphone will change my life. I eventually just ignore them and walk away though. I just don't see the reason in having a big nice fancy phone when I could have a perfectly good flip phone that makes all my calls and texts and is cheap as hell.
***
I've been walking for about 30 minutes and haven't found one single window that says 'HIRING'. Although last time it took me 3 hours to find a place hiring, 30 minutes feels like a long time.
To speed things up I hopped on my skateboard and started zooming down the sidewalk pissing people off in the process.
I did get a bit distracted watching a big group of people with cameras walk around; they seemed to be watching and taking pictures of someone. Which is kind of creepy but some people probably make good money doing that.
As I was coasting down the sidewalk and hearing the pleasant curses of the angry people I skate past, one of the small shops caught my eye. It was a guitar shop. Never in my 3 years of living here have I seen a guitar shop in Mullingar.
There was a big neon light up sign that said "Frank's Guitar Shop". I haven't played guitar in forever. I had to sell the only thing I loved, but I'd rather live here in Ireland then the slop hole my father raised me in.
I had a 1969 Gibson Flying V. My god did I love that thing and it cost a fortune. It broke me to sell it but I needed the money to move here.
I skidded sideways on my skateboard and stopped instantly, right in front of the door to the shop. On a side note, it took me years to perfect that side skid thing without me falling on my ass. (Good thing this is fiction cos I don't think u can do that irl. -K)
