Ch. 16 "Demands"

                                         Jax POV 

"Sit," Fury said 

"Go choke on a worm," I said crossing my arms, 

He glared at me, 

"Very funny," He said in a angry way, 

I glared at him, 

"Now," He said 

"Or what you going to make me?" I said 

"Your not making my job any easier," He said 

"Well sorry but your job really isn't my problem," I said 

He moved over to the file cabinet, pulling out a folder that I swear was twenty inches thick, 

He slammed it on the desk, opening the file, 

"You've made quite a name for yourself,"He said turning a page, 

"Well aren't you the smart one," I said earning a elbow into my ribs from Tasha, 

He turned the page again, 

"Taking down contract after contract, then you move to HYDRA any reason why?" He asked 

"Your so smart you figure it out," I said 

He slammed the file shut, I now see that it has my name on it, then says aka Shadow, man this guy needs a hobby, I thought 

"You are going to remain here, train with Nat and the others and help us track down HYDRA," He said 

"And don't even try running, we will find you," He said 

"You know, I think I would rather be trapped in a burning car, watching as my flesh melted and powerless to get out of the flames than to run around with a bunch of wanna be heroes who dress like circus acts," I said in a angry tone, 

He looked at me a little stunned, 

"That's a flat out No, if you didn't get all of that," I said 

"You don't really have a choice in the matter," He said 

"Oh really?" I said glaring at him, 

"Yes," He said 

"Fine you wanna play games, lets play games, let's see who breaks first Me? or you," I said 

I walked out of the room, 

Tasha walking next to me, 

"That was a little intense even for you," She said 

"Was it now," I said as we walked down the hall passing some of the avengers who give me wary looks, 

I don't pay no mind to it at all, I want them to hate me, 

If they hate you less likely they will stab you in the back later, I thought as I walked 

"Follow me," She said 

I didn't have a choice in the matter so I did, 

She opens a door, and a huge luxurious room, with its own living room, master bedroom and bathroom, 

Well I have to say I wasn't expecting this, I thought 

"This is your room, I'm across the hall, Barnes is next door and Rogers is also next door," She said 

"Is that your way of saying there is no escape?" I asked as I smirked, 

"Something like that," She said 

I looked at her, they way she was looking at me, I can't describe it, 

I hear someone clear their throat, 

We both look in the direction to see Barnes, 

"Yeah," Tasha said 

"Clint needs you something about a mission Fury has him doing," Barnes said 

Tasha nodded, 

"I'll check on you later," She said 

I just nodded, 

She walked out, I walked over to the window, looking outside as it poured down rain, 

I need to get out of here, I thought 

"Don't even think about it," Barnes said standing next to me, 

"Or what you going to sedate me again," I said glaring up at him, 

He chuckled, 

"Are you always this hostile or just to us?" He asked as he chuckled, 

"Wouldn't you like to know," I said and just like that I walked out, 

I needed to get out of here, I needed to track them down, and I most certainly needed to make them all pay, I thought as I walked to the roof of the building

And I don't care who I have to cut down in the process to make that happen,
