Jax POV
This has to be hell. I died in that fire and I'm in hell paying for all my crimes against humanity.
I am currently still bed bound.
Trust me I have tried many times to get out of this damn bed. but no Tasha and Bucky seem to insist on me staying in bed.
So I am to sit here and listen to lover boy quiz me.
Why because apparently after I'm all healed up I am to go to school. drop my vendetta and act like a normal teenager.
Yeah right I think Nat has taken too many fists to the head, I thought as Peter was looking at me.
I sighed.
"What?" I said
"I said when did the cold war start?" He said
I looked out the window.
"Jax you can't avoid this forever. Nat told me to quiz you and report back. your not making my job easy." He said
"Yeah well your job isn't my problem." I said glaring at him
He sighed.
He closed the book and stood up.
"This is pointless." I said
He looked at me confused.
"This entire situation is pointless. I shouldn't be here. I should have went after them but instead I saved a kids life and I'm stuck in this god forsaking bed!" I said throwing a glass that shattered at the wall across the room.
"I could have had them! I could have ended all of this!" I yelled
Peter looked a bit frightened.
Poor lover boy...
It's not his fault. I'm mostly angry with myself.
Sure I did save a kids life. but I let her get away! she would have led me right to them. I thought
The machines were beeping rapidly because I was so worked up.
"You seem in distress miss Hale if you would like I could give you a sedative." The Damn AI said
"No I don't need a Damn Sedative! I need out of this damn bed!" I said pulling the IV out of my arm.
"Jax Stop! Stop!" Lover Boy said
"Friday get Nat!" Lover boy said
I glared at him as I got out of the bed and started marching down the hallway.
That was until someone put their hands on me.
I went to punch. but I missed and seen Bucky and Tasha.
Bucky had his arms crossed and so did Tasha. they didn't look happy.
"And where do you think you are going?" Bucky said
