Ch. 32 "Thirst"

                                                     Jax POV 

"Well?" Bucky said 

"Look I am just stretching my legs. I'm stiff from laying in that god awful bed. Sick of bad television. and I smell like Rubbing alcohol." I said turning around about to walk away

"Oh no you don't." Tasha said as she grabbed my wrist gently 

I glared at her. 

"Look I'm fine. I had plenty of rest." I said 

"Says who?" Bucky said 

"Says me. I don't need no damn doctor telling me other wise." I said 

"Jax you nearly got burt to a crisp." Tasha said 

"So you keep reminding me." I said pulling my wrist away and started walking away. 

"You'r lucky that those burns didn't leave any kind of nerve damage." Bucky continued 

"Thank you two for that I'll log that away.." I said as I continued to walk away. 

"You know I haven't known you for as long as Nat but I think I've got you figured out kid." Bucky said 

I rolled my eyes. 

"Do you now?' I said 

"You would rather have people hate you than like you. because let's face it. it's a whole lot easier to have people hate you than risk them getting close and stabbing you in the back." Bucky said 

I spun around glaring at him. 

"And that hard mean act is too push everyone away." Bucky said 

"Whatever I push people away because I have no interest in them." I said 

"Is that how your playing this off." Bucky said 

"Yes. I think it's cute that you think you have me figured out. face it mr super solider you are further from the truth." I said glaring at him. 

"Then what is the truth?" He asked 

"You wouldn't understand no one in this tower would. all you need to know is my thirst for revenge won't be satisfied until all parties involved are falling by my blade." I said glaring at them

"Jax you go down that road there is no coming back the darkness will consume you." Tasha said 

"It's already too late for me. everyone knows that. why can't you accept that?" I said crossing my arms. 

"Because I don't believe that." She said 

"Than your even more of a fool than I thought you were." I said 

"You can't blame me for having hope for you Jax." She said sadly 

"There is no hope left for me..." I said starting to walk away. 

She grabbed my wrist making me stop. 

"There is... why can't you just let this go." Tasah said 

"Because they took everything from me... and I'm going to make sure I return the favor.." I said pulling my wrist from her hand. 

I glared at both of them. 

"I am going to take them down... if it's the last thing I do." I said and started walking off. 

I was determined. and nothing was going to get in my way... 

                                        Bucky POV 

I had my arms crossed standing next to Nat. 

"You weren't kidding. kid has a strong taste for blood." I said 

Nat nodded 

"You the only one of us who knows how to stop that thirst. that's why I need your help.." She said 

I nodded 

"I'll see what I can do." I said walking off towards Jax
