Third POV

After the engagement with everyone beign finally happy Elijah got back to work, it has been a month now, the case of the incident that happened was still hanging, till it came the day when Liam Walker walked up to the police station, Elijah was walking to his boss office when he noticed him, he dropped everything he was holding and brought out his weapon ready to attack if Liam pulled a stunt, he quickly called back up,

Liam hadn't noticed what was happening, he was drunk when he walked to the station, he dropped to the ground sobbing, he was all sweaty and he had a black eye and his hair was everywhere,

"I can't anymore with all this guilt, I just can't, she's dead because of money and jealousy " he screamed,

All the officers walked slowly close to him, Elijha knew already what he was talking about,

" what are you talking about Liam?" Elijah asked him just for confirmation,

Liam looked at him with anger,

" you!! It's all your fault she's dead! She didn't love me anymore because she was with you, where is that daughter of her's ? I hope your playing daddy well cause I would have killed that bastard child myself!" He screamed,

" and and then Diana's mother came and manipulated me, she said she was gonna give me a big some of money and cars the husband left for her if I killed Diana, I was jealous of what she had, I never wanted a child, we could have still been happy but no! That demon child came then you showed up!! Fuck you Elijah I will kill you soon enough, I have nothing all because of you, my revenge on you will be double compared to what I did to Diana, if she doesn't want me nobody will ever have her" he kept screaming trying to get up but his state kept him from doing so,

" Liam Walker you are under arrest for the attempted murder of Diana Addison" came to voice of Jacob, Elijha looked at him gratefully cause he knew that if he got any closer to Liam he'll release all my anger on him,

Elijah felt someone grab his shoulder, he looked at his boss,

" I guess we have who we were all looking for, I'll tell the investigation team to close the case and send the others to arrest Diana's mother, go home take the day off, you've been working yourself non stop through out this month and I know you have a weeding to prepare with Diana" his boss said,

" I felt it that him and Diana's mother had something to do with what happened but there was no evidence " Elijah said before walking away,

The mother of Diana was arrested that same day, it came out that she had something to do with the death of Diana's father too,
At the trial she was sentenced to 40 years imprisonment while Liam was sentenced to 35 years without parol.

With time he was getting worst and was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was placed in a mental hospital,

Months passed, Diana and Elijah were finally getting married.

After their honeymoon two months in she was pregnant with his offspring, Amelia was ecstatic on becoming a big sister

Sharon was pregnant too and was overdue.

Elijah's brother Logan and his wife Lucinda decided to go back to the State and stay close to their families.

Life went on smoothly for them till the saw all their children grow to become adults and followed them through their life ups and downs, no matter what family for them was their first priority, they made sure that their families grew to become their better and stronger generations.
