Diana's POV

It's been 4 months since that wonderful dinner, our relationship blossomed and the bond between my baby and Elijah it's beautiful.

In a week time will be Amelia's birthday, she turning one and I can't believe it, she's growning up too fast for my liking, I shook my head as I thought of it, i was at work packing my stuff to leave the building.
I walked over to my car,my phone rang and I picked it up,

Sharon: hey boo,

Me: hey girl where are you at ? I'm about to leave work right now I'm close to my car,

Sharon:ok girl I'm at the mall already,

Me: ok that's good I'll be there in about 20 minutes see you.

We said our goodbyes and I got In my car and drove off. We were meeting at the mall cause we are going to buy decorations for Amelia's birthday party.

I got there and saw Sharon waiting at the Front of the mall, i Parcked and got out of my car, i walked up to her giving her a tight hug,

"Hey girl! How have you been?" Sharon asked,

"I've been really how gurl, i can't Believe my baby is turning 1 very soon"
i said dramatically wiping away my fake tears, she rolled her eyes laughing at what I just said,

"Girl bye you're being dramatic" she said dragging inside the mall and we went off shopping.

It was already dark outside as we left the mall, we bought so Many things that i know we over did it, but it's once in a life time so i didn't care much that i spent alot of money for the preparation, the theme of Amelia's birthday was a princess one, her favorite cartoon was the princess and the frog, she was so obsessed with it we always watched it and she was never tired of it, it was going to be' a suprise for her to see her birthday theme.

"Ok girl goodnight, send a Kiss to my little chocolate princess and say hi to Elijah as well" Sharon said hugging me,

"Thank you so much sharon you're literally my sister right now, thanks for today you helped me out a lot, I own you and I'll send my greeting to them, send mine to the boys too" I said,

"Aww girl you're gonna meke me cry damn and I will do bye girl good night" she said as she entered her car and drove off,

I went over to mine and took off as well.

I arrived home and entered my house, I saw Amelia playing with her toys and saw Elijah on the couch asleep, poor guy he must be tired, he got off from work and came here to look after Amelia while I went shopping for her birthday, I walked over to him bending down and kissed all over his face till he opened his eyes,

" hi baby sorry I took so long" I said laughing softly,

He took my hands and kissed them,

" don't worry baby it's fine I was a bit tired,i guess i over slept cause the little one was asleep too guess she woke up before me" he said sitting up straight, I stood up and faced my baby, she was looking at me with a big smile on her face clapping her hands excitedly at me, I chuckled lifting her up onto my arms,

"Is my baby happy to see me?" I said ticking her little belly as she giggles,I kissed her all over her cute little face and i dropped her back on the floor and went to the kitchen to see a plate waiting for me, my stomach growled at the site of the delicious food that was waiting for me,I quickly went and washed my hands and sat down devoring the food,

"I get that as a good sign that I cooked the food well" Elijah said coming to the kitchen holding Amelia,

" damn right you did and I'm so hungry" I said still devouring the food,

Elijah laughed at my reaction causing Amelia to giggle along with her dad, I smiled at the sight in front of me, their bond becomes stronger and stronger every day, I'm so happy about it, Amelia has a wonderful father figure to learn from.

After a while we decide to go to bed, I took Amelia to her room, we played with her and prayed then she fell asleep and we called it a night as well.

"So how was the shopping babe? Did you see all the things you where looking for?" Said Elijah laying in between my legs on the bed,

"Yeah it was fun and I found everything that there was to buy and more, I can't wait to see my princess grow" I said smiling big,

He chuckled and placed a kiss on my stomach,

"Babe?" He called,

"Yeah?" I answered,

"Do you want another baby in the future?" He asked now looking at me,

I looked at him with a soft smile and answered,
"If it's with you there's no doubt in what I want babe"

He stared at me for a while, I was about to ask if he's ok but I was cut off by him kissing the words out of me, he put so much love, desperation and passion in the kiss I was out of breath, I opened my eyes to see him already staring at me,

"I love you" he said looking intensely at me, I sighed calming down and answered him,

"I love you too Elijah" he layed back down,

"I'm so lucky that I found you and Amelia"he said ,

"She's daddy baby girl now" I said laughing a bit, he chuckled along, I sighed and closed my eyes feeling relieved and happy,

"Goodnight baby" Elijah said kissing me one more time,

"Night babe" I said and we fell asleep peacefully .

Hey my lovelies, so it's been a while and I apologise for the delay, so much has been going on in my life that I'm trying to keep up physically and mentally, I don't want to come here and write a whole chapter full of nonsense and things that does not make sense so I just dont come here,I don't want to write a chapter that I know you guys will definitely won't like and I don't want to just write in the name of writing, I want to make sure that even though it's not perfect I want to put out that actually has something in it, I'll still continue to thank you guys for the votes comments and how active ya'll have been with this book, all my chapters are not properly edited so I'll ask ya'll to bare with me, thank you for still keeping up with this book I love ya'll. 🧡💛
