I was woken up by my alarm ringing, I sighed and reached for my phone to turn the alarm on, I turned around and I was met with a oh so peaceful and handsome face of Elijah, I stared at him with a smile on my face, thinking about everything right now I deserve to be loved by someone that really means it, I was in denial of my feelings, little did I know that he wanted more that a friendship, almost a year now, he never proved me wrong, he has been here from the start, he was a God sent, I would have never thought that a police officer would be there to help me, through him i met my bestfriend and Jacob, they make me happy of what I have now, I'm not alone anymore. I caressed his silky hair, he sighed then opened his eyes a bit, he opened them fully, he stared at me as if he was trying to process what was happening and then he smiled, "Good morning beauty" he said bringing me closer to him laying his head on my chest, "Morning Elijah" I said, "I'm really sorry for pushing you away at first I was just a bit afraid" I still said, "I'm not gonna blame you Diana, It's painful when you get rejected from the one you love and have a baby for" he said now staring at me, I nodded in agreement because it hurted really, I felt hopeless at the time but I learned how to get over it and stop blaming myself for it all, it takes two people to get pregnant, and for my parents they go fuck themselves for all I care. I decided to wear something simple just for the fact that I was not going into the office I'll be in the garage of the building to continue sewing my clothes for the fashion show, I was really happy cause I was almost done with then dresses 10 piece of different designs, my boss hasn't seen dem yet and I hope when he sees them he'll be pleased with what I came out with.
After I was done with everything I went to Amelia's to get her dressed too. I walked to her crib and see that she's wild awake silently waiting for me, when she sees me she got all excited smiling wildly clapping her hands and kicking with her tiny soft legs, "Good morning my beautiful baby girl!" I beamed with joy picking her up kissing all over her face, I took her back to my bedroom to see Elijah stretching while getting up from the bed, Amelia when she saw him she started screaming with her little voice, this made Elijah turn around with a big smile, "Good morning my little princess!" He said as he took her from me sitting on the bed kissing her, I stood there staring at what was in front of me, I don't know why I've been waiting but what I'm seeing is definitely what I've been craving, someone who would want me and love me and my baby girl.
After I took care of Amelia, thankfully the baby-sitter came early so I left early as Elijah did as well announcing that he will be back later in the evening so that we could talk and I know what we were going to talk about.
I arrived at my workplace, I walked pass the lobby and went directly to elevator that will take me to the garage. I got there and saw Franco, he's also a designer a great one at that, he's 24 and so talented and intelligent, he works at one of the branches of my same company, my boss assigned him to me so that if I had trouble in styling any of the designers he would help me with some of his ideas and by far he said I was in a good lead so there's nothing much he needed to do. I walked over to where he was sitting down on his sewing machine, " hey Franco morning!" I said happily he is such a good company, he's a really funny guy with his italian accent, "Oh buongiorno Diana, how are you?" He said getting up to give me a hug, "I'm good thanks, I'm so excited to see the finish result of our work I really hope it's going to please the people's eyes" I said smiling, "Correction, your work you brought the ideas here I'm just helping u finishing up this masterpiece with a bit of my touch but nothing the less it's all you" he said raising his finger up to stop me from arguing with him, I rolled my eyes at him playfully, "Ok whatever Franco!" I said as went over my spot to put down my stuff, "Ok let's get over with this, time's almost up" I said, he nodded in agreement and we started working.
Elijah's POV
I sighed in contentment as i came out of Diana's house and went to my car to head back to my house to get ready for work.
I walked into my office and see Jacob sitting on my chair comfortably sipping his cup of coffee, I gave him a look of disbelief then scoffed, " this guy didn't just sit on my sit acting like he own this dam office" I threw my hands in the air out of frustration, he looked at me unfazed with a big smile on his face, " look at my best friend looking like he got some yesterday"he said teasingly, I kissed my teeth glaring at him, "Shut the fuck up and get up from my damn seat, I'm not about to entertain your childish ass" I said as I walked towards him and he quickly got up raising his hands in the air to surrender, "Ok ok! Damn acting like you want to pounce on me, chill out and tell me what happened yesterday since you are in such a good mood" he said sitting on the seats in front of my desk with a smile, " well I went over to Diana's house, long story short we made up and decided to take things slow for now but I already know what I want" I said shrugging, He looked at me as if I was crazy, " so no your not going into details?" I shook my head, " you always acting like those women who needs to gossip to survive the day, get out of my office jacob I don't have your time, I have a lot of things to do" I said already going through a file, I heard his kiss his teeth before getting up, " bitch" he said under his breath thinking I didn't hear him, " what did you say?" I ask raising an eye brow, he turned around and said, " I said your a bitch " " yeah when we are done let's go outside I'll show you who is the bitch between us and..." I was cut of my intercom going through, " Elijah my office now" said my boss, jacob threw me the middle finger leaving, I sighed and got up, " this day it's going to be one of those days" I said walking out of my office.
