What the hell is he doing here??

" Are Manas Beta you came back from Europe?" Uncle said and walked up to him.

"Namaste Sasur ji" and Touched his feet.

"Namaste sasu Maa" He touched her feet as well

"God bless you beta" Said both of them.

"Divya" Manas walked to her and hugged her.

I look away and clench my jaw.

"I missed you" He said

"Me too" came her whisper like voice

"Who is he?" He asked

"He is Varun....He saved me from an accident and as his work is near this area so is staying with us for few days" Uncle said

He looked at me and I looked at him.

"Few days? How many days has he been here?" He asked

"5 days" aunty said

"And I guess you are gonna stay more but don't you think, Your few days are becoming quite big Mr Varun whatever"

"Shekhawat, it's Shekhawat not whatever Mr Manas Whatever" I said trying not to sound so offensive

He smirk and extends his hand "its Manas Bhanushali"

"Good" I said without shaking hands.

His smirk wipes away and he narrows his eyes a bit.

We glared at each other when aunty said "why to stand here? Let's get in"

We all sat on the sofa.

Divya serves water to everyone and sits beside Uncle.

"Sasur ji I came to inform that as per planned our engagement will be day after tomorrow because I can't wait to marry Divya" Manas said looking at Divya

" but beta you said to shift it next week" uncle said

" yes I did but as my work is done so I am here ready to engage her"

"But beta what about the preparation"

"Don't worry Sasur ji I have booked the hotel and all the arrangements will be done you don't have to worry about that...So now can we get engaged Day after tomorrow?"

"Okay beta but what about your parents? They should even come to discuss this right!" Aunty said

"They are coming Sasu Maa just on their way" Manas said

Then the bell rang and Divya opened it.

She touched their feet and told them to have a seat.

Divya went to make tea for everyone.
