I opened my eyes and saw the dark ceiling of my room. It took me for a while before realizing that I was late.
"Oh shoot!" I grabbed my phone in a whim and opened it and I closed my eyes so I won't be scared of the sudden flash and let my eyes adjust slow to the light.
It's still early... 3 : 23AM.
I toned down the brightness of my phone light and looked at the two missed calls from my best friend, (Best/Friend), Why did they called me?
They don't usually call me this early—late time. I punched the call back button and let it ring for moments. Moments turned into minutes and the call ended saying that the person is out of reach.
Maybe they're busy again.
I let it slide and saw on the top of my phone that I have alot of notifications and was about to check it out when I accidentally tapped another notification that popped downwards.
It led me to the messaging app, to the messages of my 'boyfriend'.
