0.6 | i wish i were a girl

This chapter will take place in 9th grade like a week after brew and crimsons first kiss (if you want to read about the kiss its chapter 4 Freshman)

Brew POV

It's been a week since crimson and me kissed in the school bathroom, me and crimson reminded normal but now I'm just wondering if the kiss was just pure jealousy

Crimson has said nothing to me and has been distant the past week its worried me, a lot

Me and maple sat in my room, it was a Friday night usually i would be at crimsons hanging out with her and Alex, but i decided not to go this weekend i wanted to give crimson some space i don't want to make her uncomfortable

I sat on my desk chair while maple was staring up at me from her bed on the side of my desk, i had noticeable eye bags and my hair was greasy and messed up, i had on gray sweatpants and one of crimsons red hoodies that i 'borrowed' a few weeks ago

This was the first weekend of many years were i felt alone, very alone, sure I had maple but crimson always made me feel loved and wanted

I stood up and walked out my room to my bathroom, i looked at my self in the mirror i took a deep breath as i looked at myself, i felt disgusted

Nothing but crimson and the kiss we shared was on my mind, maybe a walk will make me feel better, first a shower

I got some fresh clothes and towels, before turning the water to the shower on. I waited for the water to be freezing cold before stepping in

The cold water flowing down my back felt refreshing, as i showered i thought of if me and crimsons friendship would ever be the same after this

I stepped out of the shower water dripping from my wet body. I wrapped the towel around my self before brushing my hair, drying my body, and putting on some fresh clothes

I stretched my arms over my head before putting maple on her leash, it was past sunset but I didn't care no one comes down my road past sunset

I started walking the opposite direction of crimsons house, this way lead to the highway in order to get to the high way you have to cross the train tracks that went over the river on a bridge

I started walking to the train track, it was a good mile or 2 away. I blasted music in my ear as i walked, i played random songs me and crimson enjoyed

Maple was walking at my side not focusing on finding a place to use the bathroom she kept looking around and looking up at me, she seemed worried

As we pasted one of our neighbors houses i saw a couple threw the window, their was a tall man, a shorter women, and a looked to be 10 year old. The 10 year old was jumping up and down excitedly and yelling "IM SO EXCITED" the parents calmed him and started talking to him

"I'm sure you are, we all get a vacation away from here for a while, and you can get whatever you want" the mom said booping the young boy on the nose, he smiled happily at her. When the mom moved away from the boy the dad came up to him "and remember free ice cream" the dad said hugging his son

"YES!!" The boy yelled as if it was the best day of his life, i forced myself to look away from the happy family. They seem happy i thought wondering if my parents weren't pricks would they treat me the same? Would we be as happy as that family?

I frowned and starting walking towards the railroad tracks again, stop thinking of them brew, they left you alone. 'Alone'

The word sang in my mind like a song i couldn't stop thinking of, soon another question came into my mind 'were would i be now if crimson never came into my life?'
