People tell me

"Hate is such a strong word."

Why is it that it exists,

Then?

It is a word because

It means something,

Right?

To be used,

And for a good reason.

If you really dislike something,

Why not use the word "hate"?

Why do we have to be so

Careful

In everything we choose

To say

And do?

Why are our movements

And thoughts

Tracked so carefully and closely,

Waiting for one wrong moment?

Waiting

For us to mess up,

And be disciplined

Before our side of the story

Is spoken.

Just once,

I wish for freedom.

To be able to speak whatever I please,

However I want to elaborate,

However I choose to use my words,

Without a shadow hovering over me,

Waiting for just one wrong move.
