Adira followed after Max as the girl stormed into the kitchen and began to dig through the cupboards before she pulled out some pills and quickly threw some of them into her hands. Adira shot forward, "hey hey hey, what are those," Adira quickly stopped Maxine, worry on her face

"Its fine Adira," Maxine snapped at her and threw them into her mouth before drinking a bunch of water

"No, its not fine, I need to look after you, and standing here and letting you swallow a bunch of pills it not considered to be looking after you!" Adira fired back at Maxine and grabbed the bottle of pills from Maxine and looked at the label, they were prescribed to Maxines mum and they looked a little old

"It's not your job to look after me, you are not my mum!" Maxine fired back as she rolled her eyes at Adira and snatched the pills back from her, "and I can look after myself by the way, I don't need you to look after me."

Maxine had felt instantly guilty for saying what she had to the girl and grabbed Adira's wrist softly and looked over at her best friend, "its okay Adira, I've already checked, you cant overdose on these, they are just to stop the hallucinations and shit okay?" Maxine tried to calm Adira down but the girl wasn't having it

"Maxine, you are taking too many of them, these can make you seriously sick, not to mention that they arent even prescribed to you!" Adira whisper yelled at the girl and tried to grab the pills but Maxine pulled them away from her

"Please Adira, I need them," Maxine begged her. She just wanted all of it to stop, she didn't want the nightmares, she didn't want the sick feelings she kept on having, and she definitely didn't want the hallucinations that she kept on getting pulled into

"N-" Adira went to tell her off, but she was cut off by the sound of loud police sirens. She shut her mouth quickly and turned to look at Max in worry before she grabbed the weed out of her pocket and hid it up under the sink before the two of them quickly made their way to the front window. They looked out the window and sure enough, a bunch of cop cars were driving over in their direction, "what the fuck," she muttered out then her and Max moved over to the front door.

Max twisted the handle and pushed it open before the two of them stepped out, both of them looking over at the cop cars in worry and confusion as they sped through the park and stopped in front of Eddie's caravan where his uncle was sitting outside, smoking a cigarette, not looking surprised as the cops arrived.

"Looks like that Munson boy's up to no good again," Maxines mother muttered out to the two girls as she stepped out from the door behind them and stood next to Maxine, "good to see you Adira dear," she muttered out

"Hi Ma'am, thank you for having me," Adira thanked before the three of them turned their attention back to the scene in front of them. There were 5 cop cars, so whatever this was, was definitely a big deal.

Maxine and Adira had watched Eddie speed off in his van last night, and couldn't help but be filled with concern, but neither of them had the guts to go over there, and neither of them even knew where to start to find Eddie

"What do you think happened?" Adira whispered into Maxines ear

"I don't know," Maxine whispered back as they watched the cops pile out of their cars and slam the doors shut aggressively behind them. The loud sound of police chatter from their radios echoed through the park, and by now, all of the neighbours were at least sticking their heads out of their doors to see what the hell was going on over at the Munson caravan.

"Mr. Munson," One of the police officers addressed as he made his way over to the man outside of his him who had a cigarette in his mouth and a small look of shock on his face, "where is she?"

Mr Munosn walks over to the officer slightly before pointing inside of the caravan door, "I just found her there. I swear, I don't even know her name. I never seen her 'fore." The man quickly choked out, now expressing the shock that he was in for finding whatever he had found.

Adira was trying her best to listen in on what was happening

"Its alright, just calm down and just stay back," the sherif informed the man as he walked back over to the cars. A few people were now making their way over to the boys in blue, asking them what was happening and why they were there.

Maxine and Adira had walked down the steps now and were making their way over to the police, trying to hear more or see something.

"So what are you boys doing here?" one of the neighbours asked as he tried to crane his neck and get a better look inside of the caravan

"Just stay back," the sheriff informed the man politely before making his way back over to the caravan and opening the door, walking inside with the deputy. Adira watched the two man stop dead in their tracks.

Max and Adira kept walking forwards and then they saw it... or her. Adira felt the world freeze around her as the wind got sucked violently from her hungs. Adira let out a loud cry and tried to run over to the caravan but an officer quickly grabbed onto her.

"Chrissy!" Adira screamed out, tears pouring down her face as she tried to rip herself from the police officers arms and run over to her best friend, "No!" She cried out. People around them all held their hands to their mouths in shook and empathy as they watched the girl thrashing around in the officers arms

"Hey Hey Hey, I've got you, I've got you," Max cried out to her friend as she wrapped her arms around Adira firmly. Adira sobbed as she buried her head into Max's chest. Max felt her heart shatter at the sound of her friends cries, "shh, its okay I'm here," Max whispered to her and held her tightly as Adira shook against her

"You need to get her out of here. You cant be out here. Get back inside," the officer tried to tell Maxine, who only just managed to hear it over the sound of Adira's crying. Max nodded and loosened her grip slightly. Adira took the opportunity to slip through Max's grasp and run towards the caravan, she pushed through the officers who all tried to grab her and only stopped once she made it past the door way and could see Chrissy.

Adira fell to her knees with a loud sob as she looked at her best friend. Her eyes were gone and her bones were all snapped in different directions, it wasn't normal and there was no way that a human could have done this. "Oh Chris," Adira choked out as she went to crawl to her friend but the Sherif grabbed her from under her arms and pulled her up. She thrased in his arms, "let me go! let me go! shes my best friend!" Adira cried out but the sheriff didn't let her go.

They led Adira out to one of the cop cars and carefully pushed her into the back of one and locked the door so that she couldn't get out. The Sheriff then called over Maxine, "are you her sister?"

Max looked conflicted by the question at first before she shook her head, "No uh, not technically," Maxin explained

"Okay, well is there anyone I can call to come and pick her up, mum, dad, actual siblings maybe? A boyfriend?" The Sheriff asked

Max nodded her head softly, "yeah uh, I can call her brother and ask him to come and get her," Maxine answered but then remembered Steve was working, "actually uh, she is staying with us at the moment because her family is out of town, so my mum and I can just take her back over to my house and look after her until she uhm, calms down," Maxine says

The sheriff takes a few moments to decide what to do before he nods her head, "Okay, but it would be best to make sure that she doesn't come back out of the house until we get everything cleaned up over here," the sheriff tells Maxine who nodded her head quickly
