"Shit okay, all of you, in the car," Steve quickly told them as the sirens started to fade away. All of them knew what it had meant, but none of them wanted to say it. Chrissy had only just died and now there was another victim, this thing wasn't taking any time between its kills. Adira ran over to the boat and peeled the tarp back a little bit to look down at Eddie.

"Eddie stay here okay, we will be back," Adira quickly told him as she stared into his beautiful brown eyes. Eddie's eyes were filled with concern as he reached his hand out and wrapped his calloused fingers around her delicate and soft wrist. Her body was filled with warmth as she felt his warm skin against her own

"Be careful," he told her worriedly, his face was full of concern and his eye brows were furrowed. She stared at him for a few short moments, getting lost in his eyes. As Eddie got a look at her face from close up, he could see how tired she really was. She had dark bags under her now dull, blue eyes. Her skin had gone a sickly pale colour and her eyes were red. She looked like she hadn't slept in a few days.

Adira nodded her head and pulled away from the boy, "I will. Try not to make any noise until we come back, people will be coming down to see what all the sirens are about so you need to make sure that you stay hidden," Adira quickly told him and stood back up. She covered him over with the tarp again and then quickly ran out to the car where they were all squeezing into. Adira climbed into the back seat and got the right window seat next to Max.

Steve didn't waste any time as he quickly turned the key in the ignition. The car roared to life and Steve quickly changed the gear to first before quickly easing off the clutch and then speeding off down the road, quickly changing gears as he did so. None of them said anything as they drove in silence to where the police and the ambulance were parked.

They drove and drove before finally stopping. They all climbed out of the car but stayed next to it as they peered around at the crime scene. They watched as a body was covered up and then hauled onto a stretched before being wheeled away over to one of the ambulances. There were police cars everywhere. They then spotted someone that they didn't expect to see there,.

Nancy Wheeler.

She was talking to the new Sherif. They stayed quiet, trying to hear what they were saying but unfortunately, they were too far away to actually hear anything so they waited patiently, hopping that they would eventually be able to catch Nancy's attention and then she would tell them everything later.

Nancy finally noticed them and her solemn expression was replaced with a small smile as she saw her friends, suddenly feeling a sense of comfort. The words coming out of the Sheriff's mouth were now incoherent and blurred as she focus only on her friends. Adira gave her a small grin and waved over at her, making Nancy's grin widen.

"So you are saying that this thing... that killed Fred and Chrissy. It is from the upside-down?" Nancy asked them, her heart dropping into her stomach at the thought of it.

"If the shoe fits," Steve said nodding his head. They weren't 100% sure that this thing was from the upside-down, but all of them were pretty much certain. Whenever something this bad happened in Hawkins, it always seemed to have something to do with the upside down.

"Our working theory is that he attacks with a spell, or a curse," Dustin tells Nancy, trying to get her caught up on what they knew so far and what they thought they knew. It was obvious that they needed all of the help that they could get, and Nancy Wheeler was definitely at the top of their list for people to ask to help

"Now whether or not he is doing the bidding with the mind flayer, or he just loves killing teens, we don't actually know," Dustin explains to Nancy. All of them felt sick at the thought.

"Though we would really love to find out, considering all of us are targets in either scenario," Adira quickly spoke up, stating what all of them were thinking but were too scared to admit out loud. Nancy looked over at Adira and saw the tiredness of her face and only now realised how Adira must be feeling. For as long as she could remember, it had been Adira and Chrissy, you rarely saw one without the other. They were the queens of Hawkins, nobody messed with either of them

"All we know is that, this is something different." Max says, looking around at all of the teens situated around the park bench outside Maxine's house, "something new."

"It doesn't make sense," Nancy spoke up, shaking her head slightly

"It's only a theory," Dustin said

"And we don't exactly have an encyclopedia on all the monsters in the upside down," Adira muttered out, resting her head on her hand as her elbow dug into the table, supporting the weight of her head. She was struggling to keep her eyes open, she hadn't been sleeping, she was scared that if she fell asleep she would have the nightmares again... or worse, she wouldn't wake up

"No... Fred and Chrissy don't make sense. I mean, why them?" Nancy asked Dustin, hoping that he would have an answer

"Well Nancy Drew, I have been asking the exact same question for just about the last 30 hours," Adira said and let out a small yawn before slamming her head down onto the table with a loud thud, "I doubt that we can rule it off as 'they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time' but that's pretty much all we have right now."

"I mean, they were both at the game," Dustin quickly says, trying to figure out the connection between the two of them

"And they were both near the trailer park," Maxine said quickly

"We are at the trailer park..." Steve muttered out. Adira looked up and over at her brother, giving him a sarcastic smile

"Woo hoo, lucky us," Adira groaned out and waved her hands around in the air before standing up and backing away from the table, waving her arms around in frustration as she ran her hands through her hair and licked her chaped lips.

She just began to walk around in circles and let out annoyed huffs as the others tried to ignore her and keep talking, they were used to her getting annoyed at things and just letting her cool down.

"What I like about you... you really know how to dance," she sung softly to herself as she lifted her head up to face the sky, trying to keep her tears at bay. She was singing the song softly, trying to calm herself down, her body swinging softly side to side

She was sick of crying.

"When you go up, down, jump around... Think about true romance, yeah... Keep on whispering in my ear... Tell me all the things that I wanna hear," She muttered out softly, closing her eyes and basking in the feeling of the warm sun shining on her pale skin.

Max looked over at the girl as she sang the familiar song. It was one of the many songs Billy and Adira would sing to in the car. She smiled sadly at Adira before standing up, grabbing her softly by the wrist and then bringing her back over to the table. Steve looked at his sister, his concern for her was growing more and more as the moments passed, he was worried that she was losing it

"Uh, should we maybe not be here?" Steve muttered out, worried about the fact that the two victims that had been killed, were both here right before they had died

"Probably not, there is something about this place that just gives me the creeps," Adira muttered out as she, and the rest of the gang, all looked around at all of the trailers and houses, looking for something out of the ordinary or something that could be considered a clue

"Fred started acting weird the second that we got here," Nancy admitted as she thought back to the way that her friend had acted once they had pulled up to the park

"Acting weird as in?" Robin trailed off, waiting for Nancy to elaborate on what she was saying

"Scared? On edge. Upset," she couldn't help but feel guilty for his death, maybe if she had stayed with him then he would be alright and he wouldn't of managed to wonder off on his own and then get killed
