Thanks to my lovely biology teacher, after school I had detention.

As I made my way over to the detention room, I wasn't all too worried. I figured I'd be the only one in there. After all, who would possibly have detention on the first day of school?

Apparently, Elias, Andre, and Malcolm did.

The second I entered the classroom, they each glared daggers at me.

"Well well well, look what the cat's dragged in," Malcolm said in distaste. The three of them were glaring daggers at me.

I warily handed the teacher my detention slip before sitting in the front seat, as far away from them as possible.

"What's your problem?" I murmured back at Malcolm, who was seated a few desks away from me.

"What's my problem?" he incredulously repeated. "Don't play innocent. Andre told us all about your little stunt in class. You snitched on us!"

"Yeah," Andre glowered in agreement. "Thanks to you, we've got detention for the next two weeks."

"And it could've been a lot worse, but the principal decided to go easy on us, since we're new and all," said Malcolm.

"Well that's great, isn't it?" I smiled.

"Oh, I'll show you what's great." He got up from his seat and was about to charge at me, though Elias, who'd previously been watching us in silence, held him back.

"Now now, Malcolm. There's no need to rush," he calmly droned, before his soulless eyes landed on me. "After all, you know how the old saying goes—snitches get stitches."

I gulped before turning around in my seat. The look in his eyes sent shivers down my spine.

After a long, gruesome hour of detention, I was finally free to leave. The moment the hour was up, the boys had rushed away, almost as if they had somewhere to be. Meanwhile, I slowly tucked in my chair and said farewell to the teacher, before calmly exiting the classroom.

As I slowly walked through the hallways, I couldn't help but feel as though I was being watched.

I stopped in my tracks and hesitantly turned around. The hallway was empty. Nonetheless, I couldn't shake off a bad feeling in my chest. I clutched onto my backpack and sped up.

Just as I turned the corner, I was suddenly grabbed my three pairs of hands.

"What th—let go of me!" I shrieked as I was hoisted into the air.

Unsurprisingly enough, the kidnappers were Elias,
Andre, and Macolm.

"No can do, Daisy," Malcolm gave me a wide grin before winking at me.

"Oh come on," I promptly gave up once I realized I couldn't overpower them and went limp. "Am I the only one getting serious jeda vu right now?"

"You mean déjà vu?" Malcolm laughed.

"No, I said jeda vu."

"Right, but it's called—"

"I know what it's called—"

"Then why'd you say—"

"Don't question me—oomph!"

I yelped as I was abruptly dropped on the ground. Rubbing my elbow in pain, I looked around in confusion.

"You took me to the janitor's closet?" I sceptically peered up at the three.

"Yup," Andre grinned down at me. "Have fun."
