It's like my legs were on fire, taking me away yet drawing me closer to all my problems.

I ran. And I ran.

"Daisy?" I say

Two people had her in their hold as she kicked and screamed.

"Let her go you fucking psychos!" I yell

"Th-they're okay, they're all okay don't worry. I told them I'd be back, I had to. I'm sorry, I'm sorry" she sobs

"What? What are you talking about? Who?" I question "What's happening?"

And my father steps out of the large building in front of me.

He's wearing a suit, a suit?

It's soaked in blood.

"Let her go" I demand

"I'm afraid I can't do that" he says so calmly it scares me

I almost laugh "You think I can't knock out your men? You think I'm not capable of killing them and taking Daisy back?" I question

"Oh I don't doubt you can take on two of my men" he says with a slight smirk.

And more soldiers step out of the shadows.

And by more I mean there were enough to completely circle me.

Now that's what I call a problem.

"Why are you doing this? Is it your mission in life to torture us or something?"

"I assure you, this is a lot bigger than either of you. You were just unfortunate enough to be quite a huge part of it. And by that I mean, you will comply either way. Whether you like it or not" his demanding tone told me

"I would sooner die" I say truthfully "Than help you"

He laughs "It's funny, you think you have a choice"

And I just stare. Stare at Daisy who looked like she was about to break.

"You don't understand, daughter" he says and a snarl takes over my face hearing him call me his daughter "You're choices were ripped away from you long ago. Call it destiny"

"Tell me"

A chuckle escapes his lips again as he walks over to me until he was right in front of me.

He towers over me as he strokes my hair and I flinch away in disgust.

I try to move away, push him away. Anything. But for some reason, my body is glued to the ground.

And I can't move.

"You never understood Rose, and maybe you never will. You're life ended the second you were born." he whispers

And I drop dead. Dead. Completely gone.

I feel the wave of dizziness wash over me, the familiar feeling of tears threatening my eyes.

"What are you talking about?" I ask, my voice shaky

"It's a shame, the idiots are so easy to manipulate. You should be glad I taught you what I did. Or you'd be part of the weak. Like take for example...him" he says and points to a figure who stood in front of the both of us

He wore a mask, with the same red spot.

That killed Aiden.

He looked down to the floor.

"Who?"

"Come on out"

And I almost gasp. He takes down his mask and I'm met with a familiar pair of beautiful brown eyes.

I snap my gaze away from Daisy, who looked almost as shocked as I was.

"Sam? You're...alive?"

"Of course he is, I've taken him under my wing" he says

Liar.

He doesn't give a shit about Sam.

He gives me a sympathetic smile for a split second I barely even saw it. Because moments after, his hard stare was back and he looked back down at the floor.

Ashamed?

"Oh and I have another surprise for you" he says, his face lighting up.

"I would tell him to come in but, unfortunately he can't exactly do that right now" a genuine smile of amusement greets his face.

I swear I could kill him right now.

"Also, I would prefer to do it myself" he says and disappears

What the hell?

I look back at Daisy, her mouth was covered.

But I could tell simply from the look in her eyes that something was seriously wrong. Like she knows exactly who my father is going to bring out.

And it scares me.

And my father steps back into view. Two men helping him drag out a chair.

A chair with Greyson.

Who was bound by something that had small knives sticking out of it. It was around his wrists, his legs, even round his throat.

I swear I stop breathing. A sob escapes my mouth, seeming him like this.

So vulnerable. So shattered.

He was in so much pain, I could see it in his eyes, in the movement of his body.

The way he stared at me.

Any other person wouldn't think he was in much pain, he hit it well. But I could see it.

"The knives get quite deep in the skin. Indeed painful, I might add. Don't they?" my father says to him

But Greyson doesn't reply, instead he stares at me with such a blank stare.

It was so blank, so empty.

"What is she doing here?" He quickly asks

"Well, you see son. I'm testing a theory." he walks over to him

"Rose cares for you too much. Pathetic, I think" he says and pulls out a gun from his pocket.

And hold it to his head.

Greyson has no reaction not this whatsoever. Like he's been expected it.

He looks so tired.

What have they done to him?

"So Rose, what would you do if I shot him right here?" he asks

I feel the bile rise in my throat, i didn't know how much I'd been crying. But my face was wet, so incredible soaked.

And fear, fear like I've never felt before.

My whole body shakes.

He wouldn't...

Surely he wouldn't....

"You wouldn't, he's your son damnit! "

"Would you like to test that theory?" He cocks the gun

My heart stops.

I can't breathe.

I can't move.

And I'm crying.

"Please, please don't" I plead

And I catch Greyson staring at me with his usual stare.

And a smile, a slight smile tugged on his lips.

"It'll be okay Rose" he mouths "I love you"

And I hear a gun shot
