"Father, where's my wand?!".

"Mama, I can't find my painting supplies!".

"Uncle Sev, did you already pack my potion books?".

"Hurry up Draco, or I'll be sitting next to Blaise on the train!".

"You wouldn't dare!".

Lucius, Narcissa and Severus were waiting downstairs for the boys to get ready. The day had come for them to head off to Hogwarts. Lucius rubs his temples at the sound of his sons' shouting.

He sighs, "I swear these boys are going to be the death of me".

Narcissa laughs, "They're just excited, dear. Let them be".

At last, the twins run in with their bags in hand. They were both out of breath, their hair looked like they just woke up, despite the fact that they had been up for hours.

Severus walks up to them and starts fixing their hair, "Merlin, your grandfather would kill me if I let you out of the house like this".

They both laugh, "Uncle Sev!".

Narcissa laughs and shakes her head, "Alright, boys, we better get going if you want to make the train in time".

Hadrian grabs his bag and immediately latches onto Severus' arm, years later and he still remains the boy's favourite. Draco and Narcissa each hold onto Lucius and the group apparates out of the manor.

They appear at Kings Cross station, the twins immediately looking around in awe at the place. The boys have visited the station before as young children, but now there as prospering students they see it in a new light.

They make their way to the train with their personal trunks in hand. Severus had taken the rest of their things a few days prior when he went in to finalise his lesson plans. Draco made it his mission to find his best friend in the crowd.

A voice calls him from behind, "Draco! Hades!".

They turn and see Blaise speed walking towards them, dodging people in the crowd to try and get to them faster. Draco meets him halfway and gives him a big hug.

Blaise pulls back and smiles, "I see you're wearing my present".

Draco looks down and blushes as he clasps the necklace close to his heart. He locks eyes with Blaise, who smiles widely.

Hadrian appears behind his brother, "He refuses to take it off. He's even got a special safe for it that only he can open if he does need to take it off".

Draco blushes harder, "Thank you, Hades".

Blaise laughs, "It's sweet to hear that my gifts mean that much to you".

"Of course. They mean the world to me. It would break my heart if anything happened to them".

The two smile at each other, the family giving each other knowing looks. The sound of the train whistle brings them all back to reality, making them jump in their spot. The boys grab their trunks and head back to the adults.
