He wasn't sure why but he felt a sense of closeness towards her. As though, even if he had to give the entire Brushweiler Group to Lisa right now, he would be willing.

His sharp gaze then shifted towards the silent Nancy. Once more, he felt keenly that her intentions were impure.

He recalled that Nancy had provided her and her father's, Michel Brushweiler's, hair.

He had a DNA test conducted with that along with his own hair and confirmed that her father was indeed his son. According to the results, she was also certainly her granddaughter.

Nancy was absolutely a blood relative of the Brushweiler family. During the DNA test, he had sent his own subordinate to observe the entire process. The results could not be wrong.

This was the truth. Why was it then, that he did not feel close to Nancy at all?

 Jingyuan found this embarrassing.

"No, no, no." Lisa rushed to wave her hands. "Grandfather Brushweiler, it'll be enough that you're present. You don't have to prepare any gifts."

"I have to, I have to." The more Jingyuan looked at Lisa, the more he felt satisfied with her.

Even Jungkook noticed that Jingyuan's attitude towards Lisa was out of the ordinary. He raised his brows.

However, after deliberating over it, he realised that his Lisa was not only a stunning beauty but also had a wonderful heart. It was only natural that everyone would be fond of her.

Jingyuan glanced at Jungkook. Just by sitting there, Jungkook's charisma was undeniable. He was a noble and powerful presence and was definitely a king among men!

At times, he truly envied the Old Jeon for having such an outstanding grandson.

On the other hand, he only had a granddaughter whom he did not like very much.

Still, it was a blessing that he had a granddaughter. The Brushweiler family barely had any children left.

"You didn't even address me as 'Grandfather' when you saw me." Brushweiler Jingyuan turned to Jungkook sternly. It was clear who he was addressing this to.

"Director Brushweiler." Jungkook only gave him a polite response.

"Even Lisa calls me Grandfather Brushweiler. You're so impolite."

Jungkook was unfazed. He responded coldly. "If Director Brushweiler is unhappy, please feel free to leave."

Jingyuan was speechless. He rubbed his beard and glared at him. "You... I won't be petty with a junior."

"Just because you are older, it doesn't mean you can take advantage of your seniority."

"You have a strong character." Jingyuan did not become angry.

Instead, he praised him with a smile. He then sighed. "It's a pity. If only you could become my grandson-in-law."

Nancy suddenly blushed. She spoke shyly. "Grandfather..." She also wished she could marry Jungkook.

Jungkook glanced at Nancy's shy and bashful expression. His gaze was filled with mocking. "I'm not interested in that granddaughter of yours."

"Cousin..." Nancy was bluntly humiliated. Her eyes reddened in grievance.

She originally assumed Jingyuan would stand up for her. However, she was unaware that even Jingyuan himself hoped for a different granddaughter. It was a pity that matters of blood relation could not be altered.

He patted her shoulder in comfort. "Nancy ah, Grandfather was wrong. I made an inappropriate joke."

"It's alright." Nancy felt upset internally, but she supported Jingyuan to sit on the couch. "Grandfather, please sit down. You must be tired. I'll massage your shoulders for you."

She then began pressing on his shoulders.

Jungkook lifted his wrist and checked the time. It was already midnight. He frowned. "Lisa, go home and rest. It won't be good if you attend our wedding with a pair of dark eye circles."

"But Grandfather..." She spoke up in concern.

"I'll stay by his side." Jungkook responded. "My parents will come by soon. I'll go home to rest after."

She nodded. "En. Then I'll go next door to visit my father for a while before returning to the Lee family's villa."
