792.Survival In Water

Truly, Jungkook was too wealthy. All the medicines prepared for him were the best quality available in the market.

She scanned the infected flesh around his injury and deliberated over it before deciding to cut it all away to prevent the infection from spreading. She then sprayed the wound with another layer of medication to stop it from bleeding.

Finally, she applied a layer of medication suited for knife and gun wounds.

Jungkook had previously mentioned to her that this medicine was especially effective.

She quickly brought out a large roll of waterproof bandage from the first aid kit and carefully wrapped it around his injury.

Lisa made sure to tighten the bandages and only relaxed after ensuring that water would not seep into his wounds.

The entire process took around ten minutes. All this while, Jungkook endured the immense pain in silence with furrowed brows.

The surgery was carried out without any anesthesia and it was difficult to imagine the pain he was swallowing. Lisa truly had to admire his endurance.

Earlier, Jungkook had already suffered serious blood loss. The process of the surgery further worsened his condition. He had at least lost another hundred grams of blood.

Thankfully, the operation was completed.

She had expanded a lot of energy into activating her special powers and could no longer hold on.

As she lost hold of her focus, Jungkook's body swayed from where it floated above the surface of the water and splashed right back into the ocean.

Jungkook was still somewhat conscious. As he took in her pale complexion, his gaze was filled with heartache.

He had thought he was doomed to die, but did not expect her to levitate him and successfully perform a surgery on him.

His life was temporarily secured. However, she had expanded too much energy and willpower in the process.

The first aid kit was still a useful tool. Lisa hurriedly packed the medicine away and sliced a few pieces of the shark meat. She ate it to replenish her strength.

She treated it as though she was eating sashimi. It was a pity they did not have any condiments to help with the taste.

It was especially fishy and disgusting!

However, they had no choice. She was too hungry. For the sake of her survival, she forced herself to swallow it.

She then sliced a few more pieces, bringing it to Jungkook's lips.

"Hubby, you have to eat something!" Lisa took in his pale complexion and spoke in heartache.

When Jungkook heard this, he endured the disgust and swallowed the shark meat which she fed him.

She put the surgical knife and the remaining shark meat back into the first aid kit, shutting the box tightly.

Jungkook was especially heavy and it was tiring to keep him afloat.

Lisa took her life jacket off and placed it back on him.

"You... keep it on..." He spoke weakly with a gasping breath. It appeared as though he had only moved his lips.

"You should wear it. I can save more energy if I hold onto you." She insisted.

After the life jacket was returned to Jungkook, his eyes fell shut.

Lisa hurriedly checked his breath. Thankfully, he was still breathing and had only lost consciousness. She finally relaxed a little.

She had expanded too much energy and was about to collapse.

Lisa needed rest.

However, she also had to support his body and ensure that his head remained afloat despite his unconscious state.

She glanced at the floating first aid kit and shifted it beneath his cheek, so that his head rested on it.

The life jacket kept him afloat well.

His head was also well-supported.

She then took off the strap of the first aid kit and looped it around his figure, in case the box slid away from him.

After taking care of him, she now needed to take care of herself.

She had the shirt she had taken off him. The material was heavy when soaked and it would only inhibit their movements.. Still, she had held onto it in case of emergencies.
