An hour has passed since Diamond had told me about what happened. It's so late but I can't sleep. Not after what I was told. Despite Diamond reassuring me that everything was alright, I can't help but wonder if it actually is.
Lionel, the man she was in love with for five years, has just returned, and everything is fine? Why did he come back? Diamond and I were making such great progress.
What if he manages to win her over again?
No, Liam. Don't think of such thoughts.

What will I do then?
Her happiness matters to me the most. I will do anything to make her happy.
Even if it means letting her go.
But am I willing to do that?

I turn to my side as the thoughts keep racing around my head. Closing my eyes, Diamond is the last thing I imagine.
