I walked up the stairs leading to the Astronomy Tower. I had only come here a few times because of class but this would be my first time going for another reason.

The reason is Reggie.

To say I was nervous wouldn't even describe what I was feeling. I was far worse than nervous. I don't even know why. Hell, I already kissed the dude so why would a date make a difference?

As I reached the top, I saw Reggie leaning on the railing facing towards me looking up. Once he saw me, he lowered his gaze to meet my eyes. Those beautiful grey eyes.

He walked over offering his arm, "My lady."

     I laughed, "Your so cheesy."

"Should I take pride in that," he asked jokingly.

     "Depends," I answered.

He leads me over to the railing tilting my head and making me look at the sky. I was expecting to see stars but instead, I was met by clouds.

"I don't like looking at the stars," he said answering my thoughts.

I tilted my head in confusion, "Why not? They are beautiful."

"It reminds me of my family and my duties. Traditionally we are named after a star or constellation," Reggie explained.

"Why clouds," I asked again.

He smiled gazing at the sky, "Every cloud is different. None is the same. The stars and constellations are always there, it's like a promise that our lives are written in the stars."

"You don't want your life written out for you," I guessed.

"I'd rather be a cloud than a star," Reggie whispered.

"That one looks like a bunny," I said instead, changing to a lighter mood.

He followed where I was pointing, "Your joking, that's a fairy."

"Fairy," I asked confused.

He started pointing at everything, "That's its face, and those are its wings."
