Charles's POV:
As I was about to turn to my left, I felt a sharp pain in my left foot, which woke me up. And that's when it all came to my realisation
I was in the hospital. Because I fractured my leg. Because I crashed my car. Because I was thinking about her.
Damn the heart and it's feelings.
And she has the AUDACITY to bring her so called fiancé in the hospital yesterday . What was she thinking? I'm gonna shake his hands and give them my blessings?
What about me ? How about "hey Charles , are you okay ? does it hurt?" Wait- Why am I thinking about her again?
Damn the heart again!
Just then I hear little voices coming from the other room of the suite and I immediately guessed who it was . I began to sit upright when when I heard Arthur pushing the door and helping Luke and Juliana enter the room
"Hey Munchkins"
"Hiiii Daddy" Juliana said as she got up on the side of my hospital bed.
"Daddy does it hurt?" She asked me as she caressed my over my cast with her little finger
"Sweetie, what does daddy always call you?" I asked ?
"Princess!!" She jumped in her seat
"So what does that make me ?"
"KINGG!" Luke replied
"Yea and Kings and Princes and Princesses never get hurt" I exclaimed them
"Yay! You're so strong dad" Luke said hugging me
I honestly felt much better after meeting my puppies
"Did you guys eat anything?" I asked them
"Yea, Uncle Arthur made us Waffles"
"Uncle Arthur?" What was Arthur doing at home? "Luke,Where's Savannah?" I asked him.
"Don't know. I heard her leaving the house last night when she got a call from Louise. Then we both slept.And when I woke up I saw Uncle Arthur making coffee in the kitchen" my sweet boy explained in a slow , careful manner.
And then it made sense as to why Adam was here last night. They must've gone for a date night.
I looked back at Arthur who was standing at the door
"Umm" he started explaining "I was at your house because...." He took a pause "I wanted to shower. Yes , I wanted to have a nice a long shower and my house is quite far and yours is not so I decided to stop my hour house. See I'm wearing your sweatshirt too.Also I wanted to check up on these two.Hey you guys! You know there is a park on the opposite side of this hospital, wanna go play?" He said that all in one single breath.I sensed something was off but maybe that was just my meds
The thought of Savannah not being home all night was killing me . She left the kids with Mark and went on date with Adam. Or maybe it was something else.. uuughhh why was I even thinking about her..
"Char" Arthur snapped me out of my thoughts
"I talked to the doctor, they gonna discharge you in the afternoon.Savannah will be here by then to take you home"
Oh so now she cares about me
