You walked out of Furina’s front door and turned to her to say farewell.
“I’ll be on my way now.”
“Alright. Get home safe!~”
Furina was feeling a lot more giddy than usual.
Maybe it was the sweetness of the dango that boisted her energy, who knows.
You turned around, ready to leave.
It was late. Probably around 10pm.
After you both ate all of the dango, Furina showed you different types of dishes she wanted to try in the future and talked about all the things she always wanted to do in life, but never got to.
“Will you continue to pursue acting?”
Furina placed a card in a pile. You both were playing a popular game called, “TCG Genius Invokation.”
“Maybe.”
You could tell she was really conflicted about whether she should or not, even though she played as the Little Oceanid about a month ago.
“Sure.”
You looked up at her, curious to what could’ve suddenly changed her mind.
Seeing your expression, Furina only shrugged her shoulders.
“Well, if you're performing alongside me, I have nothing to fear, Y/n.”

Halting your movements, you turned around and were met with Furina running towards you.
It was cold outside, yet she wore slides.
“You’ll catch a cold.”
“I’ll be fine.”
"..."
It was quiet outside.
The only thing that could be heard was the bugs buzzing and the on and off flickering sound of the streetlights.
It was just the two of you outside.
“Did I forget something?”
Furina shook her head.
“No.”
Furina walked closer to you and suddenly put her hands on your shoulders.
You shot her a confused look while she smiled nervously.
“...um..”
“Just stay still real quick.”
Furina moved her face closer to yours and pecked your cheek.
After she was done, she let go of you and took a few steps back.
“Consider it a thank you gift.”
You put your hand on your cheek, in a daze as you watched Furina run back in her house.
Before she closed her door, she waved at you.
"You're always welcome in my abode!"
She shut the door.

All you could do was stand there, dumbfounded...

Paimon flew out of the bushes in shock.
You looked at Paimon surprised.
