"Where were you?"

You stood in the doorway of Aether's home. You had just gotten back.

"I was with Furina."

"..."

Aether stared at you for a moment but then let out an annoyed sigh.

"Come inside."

You laid in bed, staring at the ceiling once again.

Furina's words echoed in your head, loud but somewhat comforting.

You turned your head and looked at your claymore that was leaning against the wall. For some reason, you felt a feeling of familiarity with it...

But... you haven't really used it, haven't you?

You sat up and put a hand on your head.

You let out a shaky sigh.

How odd...

You felt a little dizzy.

"How does this one look??"

Furina twirled around in the dress she currently wore, but instead of being excited for shopping, she was nervous.

"Well, how does it feel? Is it too tight, or does anything need to be adjusted?"

"I-I don't know!"

Navia laughed as she entered the room and placed a comforting hand on Furina's shoulder.

"C'mon, even though I've only interacted with Y/n once, I can tell he will find you perfect in anything you wear. He doesn't seem like the picky type."

Chiori smiled at Furina as she got some more measuring tape.

"Before he left your house yesterday, he promised that he would meet you later today, right?"

Furina nodded but couldn't help but overthink everything.

What if... you stood her up? What if you didn't even like her and she was being too bold!?

With the help of Chiori, Furina took off the summer dress, and Navia led her to a different room.

"C'mon, let's take a break from clothes. I'll do your hair!"

Chiori studied the dress that she had just put on the mannequin.

"Hm.. maybe it needs more layers. What do you think, Lynette?"

The dark-haired female looked over at the young lady who sat on a nearby couch, sipping her tea. She hadn't spoken a word the whole time and had been watching the commotion.

"Layers would be lovely."

The bell next to the door of Chiori's shop suddenly rang, and she couldn't help but sigh in relief.

"Ah, you're finally here. Clorinde."

Paimon floated behind you, watching as you put on your shoes by the front door.

"I'm going out for a bit. Tell Aether I'll be back in a few hours.."

Paimon watched as you left the Serentia Teapot and couldn't help but get suspicious.
