"Ow, fuck, can't you be a bit more careful?" Wooyoung whined in pain as Yeosang continued to tamper with the wound on his arm.

"I'm being as careful as I can." Yeosang replied calmly, at this point used to the attitude that came from Wooyoung, completely unfazed to it. "I offered to give you stuff to sleep so you wouldn't feel a thing, but here we are."

Wooyoung grumbled, head remaining turned away from where Yeosang stood, mainly to keep himself from looking at what he was doing to his arm. To say the least, nothing was badly damaged, Yeosang just needed to stitch his arm up, and he should be good to go. The older concluded that the reason it hurt so much was because the bullet was laced with something before being fired.

"You're really lucky." Yeosang muttered, focusing on his task at hand, but at the same time not liking the eerie silence around them. Usually, it wouldn't bother him, but today it felt different.

"I know." Wooyoung said in a similar manner, head falling forward as his thoughts ran loose. "I just...hope that luck doesn't run out, you know?"

Yeosang let out a few soft breaths of air, kind of like a chuckle, but not in the highest of spirits. "Yeah, I get it. You and San...it's incredible how you two make it out of these kinds of things. Then again...I guess we all do, just scraped up a bit more sometimes compared to others."

Wooyoung chuckled a little and let a small smile form on his lips. "Yeah, I guess that's true."

There was a bit of a sting before Wooyoung noticed how Yeosang backed away in his peripheral.

"Okay! All stitched up, let me put some bandages on you now, then you're good to go." Yeosang explained, walking elsewhere to search for the appropriate materials. "Of course I expect you to properly rest your arm, and keep it clean, but I know not to entirely trust you with all of that."

"Hey! I try my best!" Wooyoung was quick to defend himself, knowing that this was all in a non-serious manner. "I'd say I did pretty well before with my leg."

Yeosang made an elongated hum as his response, raising in pitch. "If you say so."

Wooyoung scoffed, rolling his eyes. "At least I heal pretty fast for whatever reason, so hopefully this won't bother you for long."

"Bother me? Shouldn't you of said bother yourself?" Yeosang returned, an assortment of medical things in his hands, with his brows furrowed as he questioned Wooyoung.

"I mean...I guess." Wooyoung found himself muttering again, tongue poking his cheek. "I think I bother you more than I bother myself with this kind of stuff. Or...I think I worry you, when I don't want to. I don't know, I can't exactly explain I guess."

A half smile grew on Yeosang's lips.

"I think you've finally realized what it's like for people to care for you." Yeosang said in a way that almost felt like he was a mentor teaching something to a follower. "Kinda crazy how much you've opened up since you first got here."

"Yeah...very crazy." Wooyoung's thoughts were now running in a different direction from before.

Those thoughts were snapped away when the door opened with a sudden push, causing Yeosang to jump and tighten the bandage too much, which in turn caused Wooyoung to jump and also wince in pain. Yeosang quickly apologized, correcting his mistake. Meanwhile Hongjoong tiredly walked into the room, fighting to keep his eyes open as he slouched against the side of the bed across from Wooyoung.

"You alright captain?" Yeosang questioned with great care, continuing his task while taking occasional glances at the older.

"I'm fine, just everything catching up to me." Hongjoong brushed off, chuckling a little to himself as he finished speaking. "Yunho, Mingi, and Seonghwa are all back and—"
