" Mom, Amoura keeps biting me " Alana whined
" Amoura, leave your sister alone please. Go bite your father. " Crystal said walking up the stairs.
After a two week trip celebrating our anniversary, it's time to come back to reality. Living on an island in the middle of nowhere with the love of my life was a dream come true. Now it's time to be a parent.
" Amoura if you bite me, I will not order you that purse you've been wanting." I said and she immediately stopped
" Either you let me bite you and still order my purse or I will tell mom about who really broke her favorite vase that she got from Greece. The choice is yours father. " Amoura said. Damn she's good.
" Okay listen , how about I still buy you the purse and the matching shoes that go with it? I can't take any more of your biting sweetheart . " I said
" Pleasure doing business with you. " she said, holding out her hand for me to shake it. And me being me, I shook it because I refuse to be bitten.
After greeting my two eldest, I went upstairs to unpack from the trip. As I walked in the bedroom, I seen Crystal against the headboard, typing on her computer.
" You wanna join me in the shower after I finish unpacking." I said walking in the closet.
" You and I both know what's going to happen if I step in that shower with you so no. " she said letting out a giggle
" Girl, don't nobody want to touch you. As long as you stay on your side of the shower, we're good. " I said
" Whatever you say baby, whatever you say. " She said closing her laptop

" You're paying to get my hair redone, I'm not playing. " Crystal said as she fix her curls
" I told you not to throw your leg over my shoulder, and what did you do? Threw it over my shoulder, now look at you. You know I love the curls though, baby. " i said walking up behind her and kissed behind her ear
" Shut up. Hurry and get ready, we have to go pick up Autumn and Amir from your parents house. " She said walking to the closet
" Yes ma'am " I said. I was quiet after that because I know how she feels about her curls and I still decided to get her hair wet. Oh well.
After we got dressed, we headed straight to the car to go pick up our babies . The twins went to the mall with their friends so they won't be back till later.
If you would've told me 15 years ago that I would've been married with four kids? I would've slapped the shit out of you. I'm still in awe that this is my life now. I love it here.
After a thirty minute drive, we finally arrived at my parents house . Over the years, our relationship has improved drastically. Once again, if you would've told me 15 years ago that me and my parents' relationship was as tight as a booty hole? I would've slapped the living shit out of you.
As we're walking up the steps, I can't help but admire my beautiful wife in front of me. Damn how did I bag this. I don't understand how Bill Cosby or whatever his name was let her go but Lord am I so thankful that he did. Cause now I'm the one that's bend-
" Babe, grab her car seat for me please " Crystal asked, knocking me out my thoughts. She picked Autumn up , planting kisses all over her face
" I've missed you guys so much. Did you enjoy your time with your grandparents Amir ? " She asked our son
" Yes ma'am! Grandpa played video games with me!" he said with so much excitement.
For Amir to be five years old, he's very intelligent. At the age of 2 , he could name each of us , and say his number backwards which shocked the hell out of me so we had his IQ tested and Jesus on the main line. He definitely gets that from me.
Anyways, after a little conversation with my parents, we left so we could spend time with our family. But we had to make a quick stop at Target. I hate coming to Target with Crystal. She's always buying unnecessary things.
" Babe, grab those cases of Stanleys for me please. " she said as she turned to look at the diamond shaped plates
" Crystal what are you going to do with a case of Stanleys? " I said grabbing the case
" Amoura and Alana want to gift the cheer team with Stanleys so I decided to get them today because I'm not leaving the house at all tomorrow. This jet lag is so terrible. I just want to sleep for the next 3 days" She said rubbing her head
" They don't even like those girls enough to be gifting them Stanleys. I refuse to spend my hard earned money on some cups. These things are like what, $50 a piece? Oh no baby, we gotta put these back " I said taking them out the cart
" You just spent over ten thousand dollars for our anniversary trip but can't spend $50 on 10 cups? I see your priorities are straight " She said rolling her eyes as she turned around
" It's the principle of it all. That was our anniversary, that was reasonable, but I'm not going to buy cups for girls the twins don't like. If they want to gift them these cups, tell them to spend their money, not ours. " i said
" Okay Devale. " She said with a slight attitude as she looked over to see if Autumn was still asleep. Amir was too busy reading his book to be focusing on us.
" i know your not mad Renee." I said sternly as I reached to grab her
" I'm not mad, Devale. I'm just ready to go home because i feel a headache forming and-
" Crystal is that you ? " We heard a voice call out. We both turned around at the same time and saw some funny looking man. His hairline is fucked up. He looks awfully familiar though.
" Do I know you ? " Crystal asked as she leaned in to me
" You probably don't remember me. I'm the guy from the store a few years back. I tried talking to you but you kept blowing me off ." He said letting out a laugh
" A few years back? Nigga get out of here with that corny shit ." i said rolling my eyes
" I see you still with the same guy too." He said sarcastically
" Well no shit Sherlock. Now what do you need ? " She said
" I just wanted to say hey and-
" Hey. Bye. Come on Devale. " Crystal said walking off with our children
" You have got to stop walking up to my WIFE. This the second time she has rejected you. Do you not get tired of the rejection? " I said patting his head and walking off before he could answer.
I don't know about y'all, but I love my life with a passion.
