Sneha Pov

I was sitting in my bedroom, it was lunch time but I was feeling shy in going in front of Reeta di. So I was reading some online novels.

Suddenly a message popped up on my screen, it was of my husband.

"It's lunch time, shy bird. I know you must be shy but trust me she didn't catch us doing anything wrong"

I read the message and my cheeks heated up. I hurriedly got up and ran in front of the mirror. I saw my cheeks red. I was shocked at my own body's reaction

"Hey!! Stupid girl why are you smiling like that. It's just a normal text from your husband." I scolded myself by looking at my reflection

But how did he get to know that I am hungry. I thought within myself.

"It's telepathy" my self conscious mocked

Yeah it's telepathy I said to myself and looked at the mirror with the big smile on my face

"Yeah! Don't smile like that idiot girl" I again scolded my reflection

I collected some confidence and opened the door slowly while peeping outside and slowly walked towards the kitchen.

As soon as I entered inside the kitchen I saw Reeta di giving me a teasing smile. I looked at her and smiled awkwardly

"Di..didi I want to eat ...I mean I want to have my lunch...Umm is it ...is it ready?" I asked awkwardly but in a polite tone

"Just a minute, dear"  she said and took the plate to arrange the food for me but her teasing smile was stuck on her face

After a few minutes she turned around and forwarded the plate of food in front of me. I took the plate and awkwardly smiled at her and walked back to my room.

I wanted to eat it with her but her teasing smile didn't allow me to do that. I entered the room and sigh in relief

At night,

I was waiting for my husband. It was past nine in the evening. I was on the balcony and waiting for him.

He told me in the morning to be ready for shopping but later he texted about his urgent meeting with international clients, so I didn't force him.

After a few minutes I came to the living room and switched on the tv. Reeta di was not there, as she told me that she has to go early today because of her personal reasons. I didn't ask her for the reason I just said okay in a  polite tone

After a few minutes, the door bell rang. I stood up and opened the door. And saw him standing at the door step with a blazer hanging on his arms. I shifted to give him space to enter inside .

He came inside and I went to the kitchen to bring a glass of water for him. I came after a few minutes and saw him sitting on the couch. He was resting his head on the head rest.

I forwarded the glass of water towards him and he took it quietly and drank it in a one gulp

"Um... should I arrange the dinner?" I asked hesitantly
