Imagine a chain connecting them when the glaive is separated and Y/n keeps them on both of his back and when he wants to use them as a glaive rather than two swords he has to combine them, they don't change into a gun but Y/n does carry :

semblance : Super speed

Y/n discovered his semblance when he was in Signal academy it was super speed when Y/n activates his semblance and runs afterimages are left where he was, the afterimages last for a second and then disappear even when Y/n is running afterimages are made. Y/n's top speed is 100 mph and if he pushes it he can run on water however if Y/n does push it too far then stops a lot of his muscles in his legs tear apart at once.
