"Well, now that we found everyone, it's about time we look for a way out of this world. Our perception of time is different here, but a long time has passed since we came here"

Kotori turned towards Miku, Origami and Mayuri continued explaining the innerworkings of the world they were currently trapped in.

"The three of you were transported to three different locations, right? Up until that point, did you encounter any characters that might be able to escape this world or maybe any items that could have the same effect?"

Origami, Miku and Mayuri tilted their heads for a while before strongly shaking their heads in denial.

"Currently I am the ruler of this country, and can issue a nationwide announcement. I should be able to order the citizens to search for something similar to that."

"Good idea, power in numbers huh. That's more efficient than us having to look everywhere. I'll leave it to you, Origami"

"Understood. But what exactly should we be looking for?"

Origami questioned Kotori whereas Nia raised her hand before answering the question.

"This world is pretty wide so I think relics or treasures which grant wished should exist somewhere out there. Like Aladdin's magic lamp or something like that." Nia explained.

"Alright then. I'll immediately—"

The moment Origami responded, a deafening sound of shattering glass echoed throughout the filled hall as a gigantic wolf vigorously collided with the castle's fragile window casements, crashing the entire party in a rampage.

"H-Hyaaa!"

"A monster!"

The ball attendants screamed in horror and fled in all directions as the wolf brutally shoved away each and every being in its path of destruction. Upon that, Kotori's disguised torch dropped onto the adequately furnished floor. Fortunately however, the fire didn't set the carpet on fire and burned out leaving a black trail of smoke.

In that instant, Syouji and the others returned to their original selves. Without a shred of thought for the frenzied participants the wolf ferociously charged at Syouji and the others.

"Hoh, I have repaid your kindness just now. How dare you little piggies treat me like some dog that runs errands!" The wolf howled as Syouji furrowed his eyebrows.

"You're back?! Did the dumpling run out of juice or something?"

"I digested that crap long ago and purged it out of my body!" The wolf barked as it patted its belly.

"What even is that?!" Shidou couldn't help but voice out. At that time, the castle's guard finally arrived and quickly aimed their halberds at the wolf.

"Your majesty please retreat!"

"Leave this to us!"

Upon that, the wolf mightily swept its frontal limb, which was the size of a fully grown tree, and effortlessly knocked a whole rank of soldiers airborne as a result, sending them crashing against the wall.

"Woah.... as expected of an adaptation. Tohka-chan try giving it another one of your millet dumplings!"

Nia instructed as she cautiously pulled out her loaded pistols. Tohka then inserted her hand into the packed bag which hung from her wrist.

"Un, ready. Eat this!"

Tohka threw the millet dumpling with all her strength at the wolf's open mouth. However, just as the dumpling was about to enter the wolf's waiting mouth, it stopped in midair as if time had been suspended.
