WHEN WE MET [Taekook]

11. Twist in tale

The next morning, Taehyung was waiting in the garden, where he had arranged to meet Jungkook. Spotting him approaching, dressed in an oversized t-shirt with his hair tied up, Taehyung couldn't help but compliment Jungkook on his stylish appearance.

(He's wearing this, imagine him with glasses)

"You're looking stylish today," Taehyung exclaimed, admiring Jungkook's new look.

Jungkook responded with a grin, speaking in a Busan accent,You haven't seen anything yet. Just wait and watch."

"That's great! You speak in Busan accent so fluently. From where did you learn it?" He said, mimicking the accent himself as they both sat down on a small bench, their shoulders touching. 

"My ...mom is from Busan" Jungkook hesitated slightly before revealing.

"Oh wow! Then why don't you talk in Busan accent? You should do it." Taehyung said curiously.

To Taehyung, there was something undeniably attractive about the way Jungkook's words rolled off his tongue and the way he looked when he spoke with his Busan accent. It was as if his words carried an extra charm, drawing Taehyung in even further.

Jungkook answered the question, simply stating, "Just like that," avoiding further discussion on the topic.

" By the way, you have called me here, at 6 in the morning to have a chit chat?" asked Jungkook, diverting the conversation. 

Taehyung immediately got tensed, and said, "No, no, there is a problem. Namjoon is coming."

"Who is this Namjoon now?" asked Jungkook, confused.

"Kim Namjoon, they had shifted to Japan a few years ago. Grandpa and my rest of the family have fixed my marriage with Namjoon, and they are coming today to see me,"  replied Taehyung, gesturing his hands towards himself, explaining his state.

Jungkook was just listening to Taehyung while looking at a distance. "Hold on! Hold on! Your opinion won't be taken into consideration! They will get you married just like that." He said. he was in disbelief, and there was a hint of anger in his voice, knowing that there are people who force their children into marriage in this time and age.

"Actually, there is a twist in the tale, said Taehyung slowly with a pleading face.

"Go ahead," said Jungkook while smiling at Taehyung. 

"These Kims are our old family friends. Namjoon and I have spent our childhood together.  Everybody said that we'll get them married when they'll grow up. It would feel nice to hear that I'll get married to Namjoon. While playing family-family I never let Jimin be Namjoon's partner. When we were 8 years old Namjoon and I would stand on this bench and hold hands and say that we would build our house here. Then I grew up, and I considered this Namjoon episode as a joke. But yesterday I came to know that my parents have not grown up. They are serious! Everybody is serious! And now I am in trouble." said Taehyung in one breath.

"So, now what?" asked Jungkook. 

"I am going to run away," said Taehyung excitedly, This is the only way he can escape from this marriage. 

"You always talk about running away. Don't even think of that. It's really a cheap thing to do. There are so many risks and other problems involved." Jungkook scolded him in a serious and worried tone. He knows the suffering that occurs when a person runs away. So he is trying to make Taehyung understand to avoid running away.

"There is no other option," replied Taehyung. He thinks that running away is the only and best option. 

"There are countless options," said Jungkook, He didn't want Taehyung to run away.

"Like?"

"Like...tell your parents about Yoongi?" suggested Jungkook.

"They won't agree. In fact, they will trap me here by emotionally blackmailing me, bad  option," answered Taehyung, thinking about his family. 

"Look, if you can't explain to your parents, then forget Yoongi" suggested Jungkook.

"Next option"

"Don't marry anyone, neither Yoongi nor Namjoon"Jungkook gave more suggestions.

"Next option"

"Get Jimin and Namjoon married,"  suggested Jungkook.

"Next"

"Prove in the court that Namjoon is impotent,"  suggested Jungkook.

"He is not impotent, next,"  said Taehyung.

"Hang on! Hang on! How do you know that he is not impotent?" asked Jungkook with his eyebrows raised in suspicion and pointing his finger at Taehyung.

"You can tell, it is easy to find out ", replied Taehyung in a low voice. 
 
"You can tell? Did you and he had se..." Said Jungkook now he is curious about how Taehyung knows that. 

"Next" taehyung interrupted 

"Did he tell you that?" Asked Jungkook again. He wants to know how taehyung knows about Namjoon.

"Next"

"Did you saw him with somebody?" Jungkook asked again, not leaving the topic. He himself doesn't know why he is being so curious.

"Next"

Despite Jungkook's efforts to offer alternatives, Taehyung found himself dissatisfied with each suggestion. With no other viable options on the table, Taehyung reluctantly settled on the idea of meeting Namjoon first before formulating a plan.
