I wake up to my alarm and head to the bathroom. I pull on my training kit and brush my hair. I put it in a ponytail and step out. Leah is sitting up and on her phone. "Bathroom's free" I said, going to my bag.
"Thanks" said Leah. She goes inside and I smile. She steps out. "So, Ellie, were any other clubs interested in you?" asked Leah. I nod. "Yeah, Arsenal, Man City and Man United." I said. "Oh. Why Chelsea?" asked Leah.
"Childhood fan of Chelsea, I lived down the road from the Cobham training ground and I've always dreamed of playing at Chelsea" I said. "How come you were at the City academy?" asked Leah. "My parents said I'd have a better chance at playing there" I said. We leave and go have breakfast.
"About Keira? What were you two like?" asked Leah. I shrug. "I thought we were happy but she never wanted to tell her friends from England. I got sick of it and then finding out she was cheating on me. I fell in love with her but I guess I wasn't her meant to be" I said, shrugging.
We finish eating and then we head to the gym to warm up. I stay with LJ, Fran and Jess. "How was your first night the captain?" asked Fran, smiling. "Fine. We talked and fell asleep" I said. "How are you feeling about the whole Keira situation?" asked Fran, looking at me. "I don't know. I really don't. I know I deserve better but it hurts" I said. "I say it does, Ellie. Just know, you'll get passed it" said LJ, nodding.
"I know I will" I said. We get to training and once we finish, we head inside. I go to my room and I yawn. I step into the shower and yawn. I yawn again and step out. I pull on my outfits. I pull on leggings, a cream top and a cream cardigan. I pull on my Nike runners and smile. I brush my hair and leave it down. Leah walks in and she smiles.
She goes to get ready and steps out in jeans, a jumper and vans. "Any idea what your doing during the day?" asked Leah. I shrug. "I was thinking of just watching a random movie and a walk" I said, smiling. Leah smiles and nod. "Sounds fun. Me and Alessia are going out shopping" said Leah. "Nice, hope you enjoy" I said. She leaves and I go to the movie room.
I sit down and turn on the Goonies. I yawn and play with my fingers. I look up and notice Keira and Lucy with Georgia Stanway come in. They sit down and I continue watching the movie. "Hey Ellie, enjoying Chelsea?" asked Georgia, smiling.
"Yeah, it's really fun and everyone is welcoming" I said. "Any friends?" asked Georgia. "Friends with all of them but close with Erin Cuthbert, we live together so we're best friends" I said. "Your apart of the T4?" asked Georgia. "Yeah she is, it's the T5 now and when Carly joins, it's T6" said Millie, sitting down. "That's sweet" said Georgia. I nod and once the movie finishes, I stand up. "Going to take a nap" I said. I go to my room and lie on my bed.
I close my eyes and feel myself slipping away.
BANG BANG BANG
I jump and look up at Leah walking in with bags. "Buy the whole shop?" I ask, rubbing my eyes. "No, just some stuff for my family" said Leah. I nod, laughing. She puts it away and sits on her bed. "How was your movie?" asked Leah. "Good, Georgia, Lucy and Keira joined. Me and Georgia chatted" I said, smiling.
"Did you talk to Lucy or Keira?" asked Leah. "No, I mean they were quiet" I said. "Right, anyway want to go grab some dinner?" asked Leah. "Yup, yeah didn't realise I was asleep till dinner time" I said. "You must've needed it" said Leah. We go down to the food area and I have a roast chicken dinner. I sit beside LJ, Fran, Millie, Niamh, Jess and Hannah.
"You look like you had a nap" said Fran. "How do you know?" I ask. "Bed head" said Niamh, smiling. "Oh shit. Leah let me walk out with it messy!" I said, patting my hair. I put it in a bun and nod. We finish eating and Niamh chuckles. "Hey how about we go play pool?" asked Fran. "Sure" I said. We head to the pool table and we have a couple games where I win 3 times and Fran 4 times.
At 9, I head to my room and change into my pyjama's. I lie on my bed and yawn. I go on Insta and post a picture.

Our first match is against Ireland and the second is Sweden. I turn my phone off and watch Leah come in and go to the bathroom. She comes out in her pyjama's and slides under her covers. "Night, Ellie" said Leah. "Night, Leah" I said. I turn over and close my eyes.
