𝑩𝑨𝑵𝑮, if Jasmine could be in any other situation she would be, literally. She would run back to her mother even if she was not wanted.
The canvas slipped from Percy's hands, seemingly that he no longer could think about anything but his father? His father was a topic that, was not really spoke upon and Grover with his mouth seemed to openly speak about him?
As Percy glanced at Jasmine, desperately needing her comfort, to be in her 𝑺𝑨𝑭𝑬 𝑺𝑷𝑨𝑪𝑬.
His mother barged in another door standing with Grover and Jaleel, with an particular expression somehow knowing that Percy knew.
"Let's go home, Grover and I can explain everything," Sally walked up to her son with a slow pace, attempting to comfort him.
Percy couldn't help but back away. His mind was full of scorpions, particularly torturing him slowly but surely. His father was alive.
His actual father was alive and his mother did not even tell him.
Yet he heard the words from Grover, echoing inside his mind. Jasmine saw the absolute shock, electrify his facial expression, replacing his smile with a frown that made Jasmine's stomach twist with nausea.
She never wanted to see this expression on his face again.
It was Jasmine's turn to glance at Percy with assurance, it was what he needed right now and she knew what it felt to not have anyone around to rely on.
"At least someone's daddy came back," Jaleel spoke with a tone of amusement.
Everyone but Jasmine couldn't help to look at him with different expressions. While Jasmine hid her laugh inside her top as she looked down and covered her mouth with her clothing, as his humour always made her laugh.
But the chuckles and giggles were heard especially by Percy as this was as he noticed her now awkwardly smiling at everyone, as her dimples appeared upon the corners of her smile.
If he could install any image in his mind, it would be this.
This exact moment, his father meant nothing to him in this moment. All he could focus on was Jasmine.
"Can Jasmine and Jaleel come back with us?" Percy still had his eyes on Jasmine, for some reason she made his heartbeat calmer, as the atmosphere around him was once again filled with tranquility.
"Of course Percy, but we must leave now," Sally looked at everyone and her words rushed with urgency with all the children's nods as they all walked out.
Well except Percy and Jasmine.
All the words left Percy's mouth.
"Thank you. . . Jas," Percy clasped her hand and interlocked their fingers to be held tight together insinuating that he never wanted to let go, not in this moment, he couldn't.
He just couldn't.
Jasmine couldn't help with smile slightly for his appreciation not that she wanted it but she just wanted him to be alright and she knew this was a new adjustment in his life. She was just glad that she was here to be there for him.
"For what?" Jasmine couldn't help but ask, perhaps she was teasing him, or perhaps she was just glad to see that smile on his face.
"You know what you did," Percy couldn't help but give her the satisfaction and respond with a smirk, slightly squeezing her hand which made her smile a lot filled with love?
Absolutely not love. Not now. She couldn't be falling already? But damn it how can she not fall for him?
As her thoughts filled in her mind, Percy dragged her along with him as he ran outside the room and through the corridors.
Although something made him stop and a certain smirk was plastered onto his face as he turned his whole body to be face to face with Jasmine and with no hesitation he grabbed Jasmines limbs and lifted her.
A loud scream erupted from Jasmine's mouth with Percy's laughter filling the halls.
"Percy, get me down right now i'm not even playin—," as Jasmine spoke he began to run again down the halls and Jasmine's face was plotted on the back of Percy's top with obviously screamed with blue.
Laughter once again filled the halls but it was both of their laughter.
"I knew you would love this," Percy spoke with a hint of amusement, causing her to smack his back plenty of times.
As they both arrived to the car with one tight grip of Jasmine, Percy threw her into the backseat of the car as Grover opened the door knowing that Percy wanted to throw her in car.
"Percy!"
