*Eleanora Elliot*

I changed, my closet full of beautiful clothing.

I showered the airport off me and put on a nice sundress since it was a 10 ish hour difference from where I was and it was around 2 in the afternoon and it was sunny.

And that's what a lot of the wardrobe consists of.

And since it was spring back home it was a beautiful fall here. The weather still so nice, about the same back home honestly.

I got the leave in conditioner in my hair and brushed it through as there was a soft knock on the door.

"Da?" The one word I knew.

A small laugh as the door shut behind the opening sound and Laura came into the bathroom.

She'd showered and changed as well. A dress similar to the one I chose.

She smiled at my outfit.

I felt bad. Id love to understand.

"Cook?" She asked, making a like eating motion with her hands.

I smiled, nodding.

I pointed toward her, with the eating motion and laughed as she had.

She pronounced it for me and I repeated it.

She clapped when I got it right on the third try and held out her hand.

I took it and she led me out of my room and down the hall.

She opened the door to a dark, clean room.

"Hale." She said and I nodded.

Another door beside it. The same large room.

"Lore."

I hummed.

She stopped by these double glass doors that opened to what I assume to be Andrei's study.

She spoke to him and he hummed.

He said something and she froze.

I took that as stop or wait.

I repeated it and she looked at me.

"Means wait. Hold." Andrei motioned with his hands.

"Thank you." I felt embarrassed.

But he lifted his phone and took a picture of Laura and I.

She let my hand go and went to kiss his cheek.

He waved us away and she took me down the giant staircase.

The back door was left open to a beautiful garden.

"Me." She pointed to herself before pointing to the flowers.

I smiled.

But she led me to the kitchen.

Absolutely stunning.

The granite was light and this space was so open and entirely hers.

I don't think I've seen a happier woman.

And I think it's because of her husband. I was grateful such a sweet woman had an amazing life.

I can't wait till they're here. I want to see how they interact all together.

We flowed. She would talk to me in Russian while showing me what I'm doing.

She spoke in separated words to help my understanding as she instructed me around the kitchen.

I caught on to words like "please", "cut", "spoons", "forks", "amazing" because she would repeat them often.

I caught on to foods. Garlic. Pasta. Onion. Salt. Pepper.

And it became easy for me to listen to her instructions overtime. If I didn't understand I'd look at her, she'd help me the best she could, but a lot of it was body language.

She said something I didn't understand but she laughed and pointed.

I turned and Andrei had a smile on his face while filming.

I felt my face heat but I trusted it was most likely for Hale and Lore.

He came up to Laura and kissed her hair.

She spoke to him.

I understand she was telling him that I was understanding instructions.

He nodded.

He spoke to her but I didn't catch it.

He came past us and tried a piece of pasta.

He hummed.

"Eto khorosho."
That's good.

And I caught that.

"Good?" I asked.

He nodded.

When it was fully ready we sat and ate together.

When they spoke they spoke slow. And would make eye contact with me regardless of my ability to understand.

I wanted to so bad.

But if this was how they were gonna be the whole month I might leave almost fluently understanding.
