Mr. Titan

Carlie was in full on baby mode. She crossed her arms as she sat in Trenton's office, face twisted in a frown she'd never made before, and as red as it had ever been. Trenton promised to meet her after she left court— five o'clock. When she'd stood outside for an hour, she decided he wasn't coming, and instead, stormed to the office in her stilettos. They were his favorite, and she originally had plans to surprise him with another date, but he was nowhere to be found.

She practically broke into his office and tossed everything for a clue. The only thing she knew was he wasn't there and neither was the stupid, bimbo secretary. Carlie had asked everyone on the floor if they'd seen her "fiancé" and they all said no, but they were excited to see her again. Now, after another thirty minutes of searching through the seventeen story building, she hadn't found him, her feet hurt, her stomach was hurting, she was angry beyond measure, and she needed sex... bad.

Carlie had never been that horny in her life. She hadn't seen Trenton in another three days after their date in the park. Even that day, after oral sex, he shut her down. He refused to touch her beyond a kiss and Carlie planned on changing it that night. She bought a sexy lingerie number, wore his favorite stilettos, and cooked his favorite meal. She wanted him to screw her brains out, but he had other plans.

"No, you can go ahead and leave. Thanks for dinner! I'll see you in the morning!"

Carlie heard her husband just outside the door and her jaw started ticking. That never happened unless she was furious. She shook her head in fury as his office door opened and he sighed. He took off his jacket and threw it on the rack and turned on the light. He almost jumped when he saw his wife sitting at his desk. She looked so beautiful. Her makeup was flawless and her lips had never looked fuller. He hadn't seen her in three days and he was speechless.

But he couldn't ignore her facial expression.

She looked beyond livid.

"H-hi, baby. How are you?" Trenton smiled, walking to her. When she didn't reply, he kissed her cheek carefully before sitting on the edge of his desk.

"Babe? What's wrong? You're scaring me," he frowned, tilting her head up. The look he caught was cringeworthy.

"Don't fucking 'hi baby' me," she all but growled back, looking at the door.

"Whoa, what? I haven't seen you in three days and you—"

"And you didn't even care to text me back and let me know you couldn't pick me up! Trent, I waited for you for an hour!" Carlie screeched suddenly as her husband flinched.

"I'm sorry," he sighed. "I meant to text you and tell you I went out for dinner."

"With who? And where's Christine?"

"She's still downstairs. I-I went with—"

"I swear Trenton Lucas Titan, if you say Dawn..."

When he didn't answer, Carlie stood up, grabbed her purse, and walked out of the room.

"Carlie," Trenton called as he stood at the door in his office. The floor was alive with people preparing to go home for the weekend and wrapping up work. He didn't want to embarrass himself nor Carlie. He looked around before he followed where she was going. He caught her at the elevator, and stood in front of her, preventing her from getting on the elevator.
