Jade's POV

Well. It's been weeks and weeks since I've seen Alfie. He's tried calling me and texting me a few times, though I just ignored his requests. Zoe's really happy. And Carrie's delusional. She says that their whole relationship is fake. But I can see it in their eyes that everything they have. What they share, is real.

I walked into my kitchen and made my self some chicken soup. It was a usual gloomy day in England. The skies were gray, the rain was pouring, cold air was seeping through the walls.

My kind of weather. Sweater weather.

Zoe's POV

I sat in my room, trying to analyse what was going on. What I was feeling. It was weird and it just wasn't right.

When I was with Alfie, my life felt complete. But how could this be? I'm the one trying to set him up with Jade. He's not mine to take, is he? Or.. I don't know.

I felt as if I was the Eponine of this situation. And Alfie's Marius.. And Jade? Cosette.

And it's strange because deep down, I know that Alfie feels something for me too. And maybe that's why he's so hesitant? Or am I just over-thinking things?

Jade's POV

I blasted my playlist that consisted of what I called rainy-mood music. Which was pretty much all Ed Sheeran and Passenger songs.

I pried my laptop off from my coffee table, and walked back to my room. I sat on my bed, and typed in the URL of Zoe's blog.

I wanted to read her latest blog post and call it a day. But as I scanned through the lines, I read a phrase "I don't know if he loves me, or her." She was pretending to be a character of a book she was reading, which was kind of odd for her. But I knew that phrase meant something more. She would never role play anything. She's using it to hide something.

Alfie's POV

I really can't do this anymore. I couldn't do this. There was no point. Zoe was right.

I decided to give her a ring and end this hoax.

"Hello? Zoe?"

"Yes, Alfred?"

"I've decided what I wanted to do.. And you were right. I should just come clean with Jade. None of this is working."

"Are you sure?" Zoe asked hesitantly.

"What's wrong?" Somethings up and I know it is.

"Nothing. Nothing. I assure you. I'll make a blog post about us breaking up later so that everyone sees it."

"Perfect. You're the best Sugg."

I could hear Joe in the background adding in, "No, Alfie. I will ALWAYS be the best Sugg." And then a door shut.

"Thanks, Alfie. Well i've gotten to go now."

"Bye."

Zoe's POV

"Joe, get out of my room." I threw a pillow at my brother standing in the doorway.

"No. You can't make me." He took a sip of the hot beverage from his favourite mug, which was mine originally. "Are you really that upset about Alfie? You looked steamed."

"I'm fine, Joe. I just need time alone."

"You know, if you actually have feelings for him, you should say something. Jade told me the other day is that the only reason she's backed off is because she knows you want him. She doesn't want to ruin anything."

"Thanks, little brother. But, it's more than that. It's not just about me. It's about Alfie. It's what he wants. I know somewhere in his heart, that i'm there. But, Jade matters more to him. And i'm not going to stop him just because of this silly feeling I have for him."

"I still think you should say something." He took a seat next to me. "I still think it's worth it." He looked into his mug, which I noticed now was hot chocolate. "Want some?"

"When did you buy hot chocolate mix?"

"I didn't."

"Did dad buy it?"

"No. Alfie gave me some. He has a ton. Fans send him boxes and boxes of it."

I laughed, "He does love hot chocolate."

"See, there's the smile i'm trying to get out of you."

"Thanks, Joe." I gave him a hug, "You're always there for me. You can be a little shit sometimes, but you're still there for me."

"That's what family's for." I felt him lift his arm, and heard him slurp.

"Are you really trying to drink that during a moment like this?"

"It's good chocolate!" He released his grip. "German chocolate! Hot chocolate!"

I laughed, "Of course, Joe."

Jade's POV

I was talking to Carrie on the phone about going to the cinema's later. "So, are you going to pick me up?"

"Yeah! I'll come get you in a few. I think I have one show today. I'm sure that you'll be able to sit through it and then go to the cinema's after."

"Perfect." I laughed, "I love Les Mis anyways."

"I'll be there in a jiffy. 15 minutes. Sounds good?"

"Sounds good to me. I'll see you at my doorstep then."

What to wear.. What to wear.. Hmm. Mustard coloured peacoat.. Curled hair.. White long sleeves.. Brown scarf.. Jeans.. Combat boots.. Okay. I think i'm set.

The doorbell rang, and I rushed to get my purse, "Coming!"

Carrie's POV

I texted Alfie, "Are you sure you can get all that done on time? Sounds like a lot."

He responded, "Don't worry. Everyone's helping me. I'll see you there."

Jade opened the door, "Let's go?"

"Let's go." I prayed that Alfie wouldn't screw up his plan, and I hoped that everything would go right.
