Jade's POV

"Alfie, I'm really really sorry.. But.. I'm not feeling this movie marathon.."

"You aren't?" He questioned.

"I'm sorry. After two movies, I get kind of restless.."

"It's alright." He stood, "I had a back-up plan anyways." He smiled.

"Of course you do." I laughed as I stood, "What is it?"

"You'll see." Alfie grabbed my hand and lead me out of the theatre. In the lobby, where there was light, Alfie pulled out an orange bandana from his back pocket. "You're going to have to trust me on this. Okay?" I felt his presence creep closer and closer. Before I could figure out what was going on, I was already being blindfolded, and lead by the hand to somewhere unknown. "Watch your step here." I felt the cool breeze touch my arms. The wind blowing through my hair. "Grab onto this handle." His hand guided mine into place, "And step up here, but watch your head. Now you can go ahead and sit." I heard a door slam, and I assumed we were in his car.

"Am I allowed to take this off now?" I asked.

"Jade, we haven't even left the parking lot yet."

"Oh." I commented. "But... Can I take this off now?"

"Nooo. You can't."

"What if I need to buckle my seat belt?"

"I've already strapped you in.." He chuckled.

"You did?"

"Yeah." Alfie's cackle rang throughout his car. "Right before I closed the car door. You didn't feel it?"

"Not at all." I laughed as I listened to the start if an engine.

"So, you can't take the blindfold off. Keep it covering your eyes." I crossed my arms, and pouted like a child. "You know, Zoe does that exact same look all the time. It doesn't work on me. Although you do look cute, it's not working." Of course he would mention Zoe.

I nodded my head, and released my stance. "Okay." If I could look out the window, I would. But because of this blindfold, I just have to find where the window is, so I can rest my head upon it. I whispered to myself, "Can't even find the mother-fucking..Got it." I leaned.

"We're almost there." I could imagine him smiling as those words escaped his lips. But as for me, I kept silent. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah. I'm fine." I coldly retorted.

"Okay. What's wrong?"

"Nothing." I crossed my arms, "Can I take this off my head now?"

"Nope. We still have some walking to do." He explained. I felt the cold breeze touch my face again, and I knew that he was getting out of the car. Before I could even count to ten, I felt Alfie's hand leading me down a step, and yanking me towards an unknown area. Had he even closed the door?

"Now can I take this off?"

"You're quite inpatient, aren't you?"

"No. I'm not."

"Why are you acting so bitter all of a sudden? Ever since we got into the car, you've just been answering my sentences with either nods, no's, or okays."

"I'm fine."

"Well. You can sit here." Alfie sighed. "It's the ground. There's no chair. So.. It's quite easy to find."

I took a seat and peeled the bandana from my head. "Is.. Is this your backyard?" I looked around to find myself sitting on a blanket in a patch of grass.. A wooden fence covered with christmas lights surrounded us.. My back was resting upon the trunk of a tree. Next to my leg, there was a petite picnic basket and two travel mugs. There were two tents set up near us, and a bonfire pit as the centrepiece.
