Niall's POV
While I was watching a football game on the television, I got hungry during the commercial break. So, I walked over to the kitchen to have something to eat. When I opened our pantry, it was filled with canned goods only.
“I think I'll just have beer.” I thought to myself, but when I opened our refrigerator I saw that we also ran out of beer
“Babe!” I called (Y/N) from the kitchen after closing the fridge
“Yeah?” She said while going downstairs
“No more food.” I said once she entered the room
“So does the pantry?” She asked pointing her finger to the cabinet
“Only canned foods.” I answered pouting
“I'll just change into some decent clothes, then we'll go grocery shopping. How's that?” She asked me
“That's perfect and can you please grab my wallet from my bedside table?” I asked
“Yeah, sure. How about your car keys?” She asked while walking upstairs
“It's on the coffee table.” I answered grabbing my car keys
While I was waiting for (Y/N) to get ready, I put on my white Stan Smith shoes and my Tom Ford shades. After 5 minutes, she came downstairs wearing a jean shorts, her black Champion shirt, and her white Stan Smith shoes with my wallet on her hand.
“Here you go, babe.” She said handing over my wallet
“Thanks.” I said taking it “We're matching.” I added referring to our shoes
“Aw, we're so cute.” She said kissing my cheek “Now let's go, we don't want to be stuck in traffic.” She said putting her Nike cap on
I walked over to the garage to start the engine of the car, while (Y/N) is locking all the doors in the house. Once she was done, she joined me in the passenger seat and we drove to our local grocery store.
While driving, (Y/N) turned on the radio and sang all of the songs that is coming from the radio.
I had a glimpse that she opened her phone and I knew that she opened her Snapchat because she held it high and started lip-synching.
“Okay Horan, your solo.” She said facing the camera at me
It was a perfect timing because it was a red light so I had the time to join her.
Before we went to the grocery store, we drove through our favorite coffee shop, which is Starbucks. Coffee is always our top priority before we do any shopping related. After getting our drink, we finally arrived to our destination.
(Y/N) and I went inside the grocery store, hand in hand.
I grabbed a cart and followed my princess through the first aisle that she went. I put my coffee down on the cart and (Y/N) did the same with hers.
“Babe, let's get some apples.” I said then she nod and grabbed a bag of apples then I followed her through the cereal aisle.
“Do you like this one, Ni?” She asked while showing me a box of Lucky Charms
“Yes please.” I answered and she put it in the cart
“Where are the Cheerios? That is my favorite.” (Y/N) said, it made me chuckle while she was while looking for her cereal
“Why are you laughing?” She said in confusion
“You're just too adorable.” I answered then she playfully rolled her eyes at me
“I'll just take Honey Bunches of Oats.” She said taking the cereal box and putting it in the cart
We've been grabbing everything that we need in the house, such as condiments for cooking, fruits and vegetables, eggs, chicken, bread and cleaning supplies. Now to our last stop is to get junk foods.
“Babe, I'll get some Pringles and Ruffles from the other aisle.” (Y/N) said and I nod while looking for some chips and putting it in the cart
After a few minutes (Y/N) came back with lots of Pringles and Ruffles in her arms because it is our favorite food of all time. I also grabbed my favorite beer brand and (Y/N) grabbed her favorite rosè.
Then we went to the cashier lane to pay everything that we got. This time, I am the one paying for the groceries because the last time we went grocery shopping, (Y/N) paid for it. After paying, I pushed the cart outside and I opened the trunk putting all of the eco bags inside.
I went inside the car and turned on the engine and the air condition.
“Maybe you won't be hungry for a couple of weeks now, babe.” (Y/N) teased me
“Weeks? You meant days, my love.” I jokingly said making her laugh
