You work at Starbucks and you work as a cashier. You needed a part time job because you need it for college.
“Please wait over here." You smiled and a blonde boy was your next customer
“Good morning sir. How may I help you?" You gave him a warm smile
“A vente of chocolate hazelnut mocha and a smore." He smiled handing his membership card
“Is that all sir?" You asked
He just nod and you took his membership card and you returned it to him after swiping it. You grabbed a vente cup and a black sharpie
“What is your name sir?" You asked ready to write his name
“Niall." He said and you wrote it
You went to the counter where they put cupcakes, smores, breads and such
“Here is your smore sir." You said giving it to him “Please wait on the next counter." You said and he went to the next counter
It's almost 7 and you are gonna leave soon. While waiting for your shift to end you decided to clean up the tables. You went to the table near the window and you saw the name written on the cup.
“Niall." You whispered, then you saw a wallet beside the cup you took it and opened it.
It was Niall's wallet and you took his license. You took your phone in your front pocket and you dialed his number, after three or four rings he answered it.
“Hello? Who is this?" He asked, you were nervous and you didn't know why.
“Uh--" You said trying to cope the words you were gonna say “Uhm, a while ago you went to Starbucks near high street and you unintentionallly left your wallet sir." You said
“Thank god you have it! Uhm, I'll go there right now. Thank you so much." He said and ended the call
You kept his wallet on your bag and waited Niall at the table where he left it.
After 20 minutes he arrived, looking around and he turned to you and he smiled. You stood up and taking his wallet from your bag
“Here." You smiled at him giving his wallet
“Thank you so much. I was panicking and worried that I lost my wallet." He sighed in relief
“You're welcome." You smiled
“I'm Niall. Niall Horan. What's your name?" He asked
“(Y/N). (Y/N) (Y/L/N)." You said shyly
“(Y/N), I like it." He chuckled
You just smiled and rub the back of your neck. You usually do this when you are nervous
“Are you leaving? ‘Cause I will gladly take you home, after you have done for me tonight." He said
“Okay." You said and he smiled
Both of you got out of the coffee shop and went to his car.
“Where do you live?" He asked getting in the car
“Near the church." You answered
“How long are you've been working there?" He asked trying to break the awkward silence
“I just started four months ago." You answered
“I see. You look like a student for me. Do you go to school?" He said
“Yeah actually. The purpose I work there is for college."
He just nod
“You look like a really nice guy, Niall." You said staring at him
“Well what can I say I'm charming." He joked and it made you giggle
“I like your laugh, (Y/N)." He said and it made you blush hoping he wouldn't see it because it's dark inside his car the only light you can only see is the lights coming from the streets
After 20 minutes of car ride you are finally home.
“Thanks for the ride." You said opening his car door
“You're welcome." He smiled “See you around?" He asked smiling while showing his teeth
You just smiled and nod
“Okay then." He said and you got out of his car and before you went inside the apartment you waved your hands to Niall and he beeped his car and went off
Well it was a start of a good relationship.
