(Y/N)'s POV
Me and Niall just finished settling down in one of the suites in Plaza Hotel. It was a 13 hour flight and I can feel the jet lagged kicking in, so the first thing that I do is lie down on the huge queen sized fluffy bed.
"You can't be serious right now, babe." Niall said pulling my arms towards him making me sit up in the bed "We are in New York City and the weather outside is perfect, we have to get out."
"Babe, give me 15 minutes." I said lying back again "I'm really exhausted, I was awake for 10 hours finishing some paperworks on the plane." I pouted
"Okay 15 minutes, but exactly 9:15 we are leaving." He said kissing my forehead
"Thanks, babe. Love you!" I said then I heard him say "I love you too." before I closed my eyes to get some power nap
After 15 minutes I got up from the bed and went straight to the bathroom to freshen up a bit. I dressed more warmly and cozy because based on the weather forecast today in NYC, it's gonna snow.
"Are you ready, princess?" Niall asked me while he was putting on his boots
"Yep." I answered while getting my Louis Vuitton Palm Spring
After putting on his shoes he intertwined his hand on mine and we head out to explore the beautiful and famous places in New York.
"So where do you want to go first?" He asked me once we got out of Plaza Hotel
"Can we eat first?" I answered by asking him a question also
"I know a place where we can eat." He said and then he called a cab
After eating in a pizza place, it was so good by the way, we went to Rockefeller Center and took a picture with the giant tree.
"You're always so gorgeous babe." Niall commented once he saw the pic that he just took and it made me blush
"And you're very handsome." I said giving his cheek a kiss "Thank you for bringing me here. I love you!"
"You're welcome, babe. I love you too." He said then he gave me a peck on the lips "Let's go to Central Park." He said and I nod in agreement
While we are heading to Central Park, I noticed that Niall has been quiet during the car ride and he was fidgeting his fingers. And he usually does that when he's nervous or not feeling well.
"Hey, babe. Are you okay?" I asked Niall intertwining my hand to his to stop him from fidgeting
Then he looked at me in the eyes and smiled "I'm perfectly fine."
"Are you sure? You've became so quiet all of a sudden. Are you tired? Do you want to go back to the hotel?" I asked getting a little worried
"No, no. I'm okay, babe." He shook his head then he squeezed my hand
When we arrived at Central Park, Niall thanked the taxi driver and paid him. Then we walked around the park and took some instagram photos.
While I was editing a photo for my instagram story, I was about to ask Niall if it looks good or not but he was no near me. So I start to look around but I can't find him, I tried to call him but it only lead me to voicemail.
So what I did I just stayed where he left me. Maybe he just went to go to the bathroom or something.
But after a few seconds, I can hear a guitar strumming and I saw Niall, with the boys behind him with flowers, balloons and a poster of me and Niall. Then he started playing the cords of one my favorite songs that he wrote on his Flicker album, 'You and Me'.
He then stood in front of me while I was sitting on the ledge of the fountain, completely stunned.
"Babe, what are you doing?" I asked him nervously after he finished singing the song, because I can feel people staring right now
"I really don't know how to start my speech but, (Y/F/N), my bestfriend, my love, my girlfriend, my beautiful and gorgeous princess. I know I don't say it that much but thank you for always being there for me, thank you for sticking up with me even in my darkest hours, you are always there for me, to show me and guide me through the light. Thank you for being the best girlfriend, I'm so lucky to have you and call you mine. You always understand me and always been so patient with me since day one. I've never been so in love like this (Y/N)." He got the in one knee and took a blue velvet box out of his pocket
"What is going on?" I asked myself "Is he proposing right now?" I can feel my palm starting to sweat and I can feel my heart pounding on my chest
"My dad once told me, 'If you love her and you know deep down in your heart that she is the one, marry her. No more second thoughts, no more what ifs. If she's the one, then she's the one.' And I felt that in you, (Y/N)." He said then he opened the velvet box and it showed a simple but beautiful silver ring.
It feels like I'm dreaming right now but I'm pretty sure that I'm wide awake.
"(Y/F/N), will you marry me?" He said and his eyes started to tear up
All I feel is mixed emotions and I was too overwhelmed but then I said "Yes, Niall. Yes!"
He smiled widely at me, then the boys and people surrounding us started to clap and cheer while Niall was sliding the ring on my finger. He stood up and then I hugged him. I started to cry and thank him nonstop and keep saying that I love him.
"I love you so so so much, princess. Thank you!" He said pulling away from the hug and gave me a long passionate kiss
I don't care if the people are staring or watching us share this moment but the only thing that matters to me is him and I.
"I love you, princess." He said after we pulled away from the kiss
"I love you too, my prince." I said and gave him a tight hugged
