(Y/N)'s POV
I am currently nine months pregnant and I was told by my doctor that my baby should've come out of me last week, but I didn't have any cramps or signs that I am in labor.
My mom has been staying with me and Niall for a week now, because Niall is always at work and he didn't want to leave me without anyone right beside me.
"(Y/S/N) please come out, Daddy and I can't wait to see you. You've been in there for a long time now, bud." I told to my belly while I was caressing it
"And grandma can't wait to see you too." Mom said as she sat beside me on the couch
"Is it normal that my baby is 8 days late?" I asked worriedly
"When I was pregnant with you, you were 10 days late." She answered "Maybe he is not ready to come out yet. Just be patient."
"I just want him to get out of me." I pout while looking at my swollen belly
"How about you get some rest, you were only asleep for three hours today." Mom said standing up so I can lie down on the couch
She helped me lie down on my back and grabbed my pregnancy pillow for my support. Niall and I have been sleeping in the living room ever since I was seven months pregnant, because I was already having a hard time going up and down the stairs.
"Thanks mom." I said before I closed my eyes
Niall's POV
Once I arrived home, I grabbed the stuffs that I bought from Target for our hospital bag and other essentials for our baby boy.
"Babe, I'm--" I greeted but I was cut off by the shush of (Y/N)'s mom
"She's sleeping." She whispered pointing at the couch
I dropped the paper bags on the side and walked over to the living room to see my beautiful pregnant wife sleeping peacefully. I kneel down and gently rubbed her big bump.
"Hi baby, daddy's home. Got you some new stuffs today. I got you some few toys to add on your collection and I also got you a-"
(Y/N) suddenly woke up from her slumber as she tightly held her belly and yelped.
"Babe, you okay? Talk to me." I said while cupping her face and soothing it with my thumb
She removed the blanket and I saw her leggings is wet.
"The baby's coming." She panted
My eyes went wide and time suddenly stopped for a moment. I was completely in shock.
"Niall, we need to get her to the hospital right now." Her mom said while helping (Y/N) to get up
"Niall! What in the world are you still doing?! Help me!" (Y/N) screamed and I was completely out of my thoughts, I didn't even notice it
I held her hand and helped her walk through the garage so she can go inside the car.
Then her mom went beside (Y/N) to calm her down and helped her with her breathing exercises.
I quickly ran to our shared bedroom to grab the hospital bag that (Y/N) has been preparing for the last couple of months.
When I got inside the driver's seat, I was shaking as I try to insert the key inside the keyhole.
