And the quote of the day is:

"Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live."

~ Norman Cousins.

Norman Cousins was an American political journalist, author, professor and world peace advocate. This quote by him is not just a quote to me. It has a deeper meaning at least in my life. I have seen a lot of people around me lose their loved ones. I can tell it's sad. I haven't personally got a chance to experience it but I very much agree with Norman Cousins when he says it's not the greatest loss. Because sometimes the events that occur change our lives and we're never the same. At times these events help us shape who we are. But at times it also makes us lose a part of ourselves. And without that part, we not only forget the person we were but also the person we were meant to be. Losing a loved one is definitely painful but losing a part of yourself can be precarious.
