Special Chapter #2 (Moonlight) - Set on the time three months after the downfall of the Onyx Council.

Sean's POV

Another cold and long night. Another night of being alone in this place. Another night of hiding. Another night to spend to gain strength and courage to face everything again. 

I am not running away from all the things that I've done. Especially to my brother. Alam kong higit sa lahat, sa kanya ako pinaka-may kasalanan. I've manipulated everything that happened. Pero hindi ko sasabihing isang makasariling desisyon at plano ang mga iyon. 

I did that to make the dreams of the woman I love possible. 

Wala naman sigurong mali roon di ba? Sa bandang huli naman ay matagumpay ang lahat. Masaya na siya kasama ng pamilya at mga kaibigan niya. Bumalik na ang lahat sa dati. Wala nang konseho o sakit ang manggagambala sa kanila. Pati ang bunso naming kapatid, mababalik na sa dati niyang buhay nang mapayapa. May mas maliwanag at mas ligtas na rin na kinabukasan na naghihintay para sa mga anak nila at sa mga anak ng babaeng mahal ko. 

Minsan napapatanong ako sa sarili ko. Bakit ba kasi isang Alexandria Cromello pa ang nagustuhan ko? Oo, nasagot ko na iyan pero hindi ito tungkol sa kung paano ko siya nagustuhan eh. More like I'm asking why do I have to fall in love with a married woman? 

Ang mas malala, asawa pa ng kuya ko. May anak na rin sila. Tatlo pa. Alexei, Finn, and Valor. 

It's a crime. It's a sin. Falling in love with your brother's wife is absolutely foul. Bakit sa dinami-dami pa ng mga babae sa mundo siya pa ang nagustuhan ng lintik na pusong ito. 

At the back of my mind, I also want to ask why I became the second son. Why can't I be the first? So that I could be the one at my brother's place right now. Why can't I be the older one? Bakit hindi ako ang naging isang Spade William Vantress? Bakit hindi na lang ako ang batang unang nakakilala kay Kirsten? 

Napasuntok na lang ako sa manibela ng sasakyan ko sa mga pinag-iisip ko. At least, they were all in the past now. No need to regret it. No need to ask those stupid questions. Her being happy is the answer to those questions of mine. The answer is that I'm not destined to be that guy. I'm not the one who is destined to be with her. 

Isa pa, masaya na ako sa pagiging Sean Kyle B. Vantress. Hindi pa rin naman ako lugi sa maraming bagay. The Brooven family's assets have been transferred to me legally after I caught the chance to become the next judge. Spade didn't freeze any of my accounts either. Kaya malaya pa rin akong nakakapamuhay ngayon. Mag-isa nga lang. 

Pasasalamat ko na lang talaga kay Alex at siya ang humaharang sa lahat ng balak ng mga kaibigan niya at ni kuya na matunton ako rito. I've been in this old yet lively town for almost two month and I can say that I'm getting used on living here. The lively part of the town can be found on the market area. Medyo malayo ang bahay na pinamamahayan ko ngayon doon.
