Chapter 25

“What are you doing here?” I walked up to my sister who was sitting on our beach hut porch while drinking a Pina colada.

“I was getting bored on the beach” I said casually as I sat beside her with my foot under the warm sand.

She looked at me like I was crazy while I gave her a smile in return. I know she wanted me to talk to Ty, but that’s not her decision to make. Besides I bet he’s busy flirting with Jenny, just thinking about her makes me want to die from disgust.

“You left Ty?” she shrieked causing me to groan in exasperation, she’s not going to let this go.

“yeah, he’s busy anyways he doesn’t need me” I said monotone trying to block him in my head.

She cried out from annoyance and stomped her way inside the hut. As soon as she was out of sight, I sighed from my stubbornness. I can’t help but feel a little guilty that I left him just like that, he really did want to come with me. Just thinking about that makes me want to strangle myself, he wanted to come with me and I just ditched him. Adding to that I yelled at him, but he did say that he didn’t want to be friends me so it’s not all my fault.

I wonder where he is now, is he still with those girls? I can’t help but cringed at the memory of jenny doing who knows what to him. Should I go look after him? No, you shouldn’t he’s a big boy Callie and stop talking to yourself.

“Ahhh” I groaned, stupid vacation!

Just when I was about to go inside, my sister came out with my luggage. Wait! My luggage? I looked at her confused, my mouth partly opened as I watch her throw it on the sand.

“What the hell are you doing?” I yelled causing the middle age couple to look at us as if we were crazy maniac’s on the loose.

She glowered at me and ran back inside, locking the door behind her. I twisted the knob of the door, but it didn’t open. She’s locking me out? How immature can she get? moving towards the window, I found her there sticking her tongue out at me.

“Open the door, you lunatic” I shrieked, the old couple who was watching us ran quickly obviously scared of us. I can’t blame them though, my sister and I are very scary when we get into a fight.

She rolled her eyes and flipped her hair as she sat near on the couch, her feet rested on the table making me grunt from her immature behaviour.

“I’ll let you in if you go look for him, if you don’t then good luck finding a place to stay” she yelled from the inside of the room.

“No, he’s old enough to come back here” I replied, my tone just as harsh as hers. “Let me in” I was now hitting the window with all my might.

“Go get him, you stubborn little brat”

We glared at each other through the window silently, “Fine, stay there all you want I’m going I don’t care. I can find another place to stay, go look for him by yourself” I yelled once more before I grumpily walked towards the beach.

“She’s calling me a brat? She’s got to be kidding me” setting myself up on the beach chair, I can’t help but feel like an idiot. I should have brought a sweater or something because it was getting a little chilly, the sun was setting and the lights from the bar and shops are starting to appear.
