A frantic search is underway for a missing 17-year-old girl who disappeared on Thursday after setting off to visit the grocery store in her own Toyota Corolla.
Leila Wade was last seen in her car as she left her home in Sunbank, Brooksbank County at around 10.15pm on Thursday.
Yesterday FBI investigators joined police officers from 40 departments to search through the night for any trace of the missing girl. Footage from the grocery store has been viewed and it has been confirmed that Leila left the store at 10.34pm with a bag of groceries in tow.
The groceries were found stranded in the middle of the parking lot.

Missing: Leila Wade, 17, was last seen leaving her family home in Sunbank, Brooksbank County on Thursday at 10.15pm
Leila is described as white, about 5ft 6ins tall, around 120 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair which she was wearing in a pony tail or bun.
She was wearing black sports shorts and a distinctive gray T-shirt with the words 'Sunbank High' on the front.
Her father Matthew Wade told NBC news: 'It's not like her.'
Just two months ago, Leila's twin sister was found dead on Babuba Beach. She was murdered by Oliver Tinley who is now in jail. Police suspect there's a connection between the two events.

'Everyone's working together to try and find her. We love her and we want her to come home.'
Hundreds of local people yesterday met at a church to organize search parties and distribute flyers. Two of Leila's friends Thomas Moores and Tiffany Farling are especially worried.
Everyone had been asked to stay out of local woods so bloodhounds could try to pick up the missing girl's scent.
A signal from Leila's cell was picked up by a phone tower in nearby Williamstown. Investigators believe the phone is now either switched off or has run out of power.

Michelle Corey whose daughter is a friend of Leila's told NBC news: 'People have been out searching all day everywhere.'
'All over town, every little park, railroad parks and school buildings. Every place we can think of.'
'She's a sweet girl. Everyone is upset.'
Michelle also revealed that her daughter Amanda was with Leila at her house just fifty-five minutes before Leila took off in her car.
Her mother Hannah Wade told NBC news: 'I was in the living room and she was in the kitchen. When she yelled to me, saying she was going out to buy groceries, I thought nothing of the fact that it was late at night.'
The FBI continues to search, but so far, there are no leads as to what has happened to Leila Wade.
