Jason POV

I unlock my car and head into the drivers seat. I still kept asking myself who was that guy she tried to avoid. I have him for a few classes and I've seen him around. I tried calling him out but Alyson punched me and trust me she punches hard. I think she'll leave a bruise for me to remember to not mess with her.

I get in and right after Alyson closes her other side of the door.

"You finally accepted to go in a date with me love" I say teasingly

"You wish I just did it to get Tyson off my ass" she says glaring at me.

"You know it is, you just don't want to admit it" I say starting the engine

"Get over yourself" she says but I just chuckled

"Let's go to the movies there is this one I really wanted to see but I never got the chance to" she says

"Alright" I reply

I just kept driving she didn't say a word. We were quiet on the way to the movies no one talked. Then my phone rang. I took it out of my pocket still having my eyes stuck to the road. I checked to see who it was, my boss.

"Yeah" I say

"Jason your partners are in trouble we need you to go to where we had to get our package" he says and I knew that by trouble he meant that the mission went totally wrong.

"What happened?" I ask glancing at Alyson to see if she's listening to my conversation.

"Hurry I want you there in 10 Mike will be waiting for you" he says then hangs up. I couldn't upset him he gave me and order I had to follow it and if you don't well then you'll have to wish for the best. I only have 10 minutes and that'll never be enough to go drop off Alyson and go to where I was ordered.

"We can't go to the movies" I say

"Why?" she asks

"Sorry but I'll have to drop you off here can you go home by walking?" I ask

"What is this about?" She asks confused

"Can you?"I deepened my tone I couldn't waste time if I didn't get there most of my partners will be dead and some of them are by now.

"Yeah" she replies sounding scared at my reaction but I don't blame her.

"Sorry" I say stopping in front of a store so that she could get off. We weren't far from the school there was a neighborhood across from the store I'm sure she lived somewhere in the neighborhood.

Alyson hops off and slams the door I could tell she's mad but I can't be worrying about that right now.

I drive off to were my boss sent me. I only had 4 minutes left that'll be enough to get there.

I was close to where the mission was supposed to be held. Nobody was around there was only an abandoned building I could hear gun shots. Mike was outside not letting anyone know that he got out. I park my car at a distance i turn off the engine and take out the spare gun i have in my car. I get out to meet with Mike.

"What happened?" I ask

"They didn't want to give us the package and then the others took their guns out and started shotting" he says

"Shit, I'm going in" I say checking my gun to see if it has enough bullets.

"Okay, I'm going with you" Mike says reloading his gun

We walk carefully then we spot some guards. El Chueco, I was never told that we had a deal with them. If you ever mess with them you are literally dead. The two guys were guarding the building they had black suits and sun glasses that made them look like statues.

We couldn't shoot them because if we did then more Chueco's guys will come out we couldn't risk it.

"Do you have a knife?" I whisper

"Yeah" he says taking two out

"Okay now you go for the right and I'll go for the left I'll make a distraction to lure the left one and you'll do another so that they are separated, we both will take them out, got it?" I say

"Yeah" he says and leaves

I use the cars to cover me from being caught. Open a car door and close it to make a loud sound. A few seconds later I hear a glass breaking that had to be Mike.

I hear foot steps approaching I could tell it was just one guy. The guy looked around, I had to be as silent as I could if I had to do this. I was behind him, I had my knife ready, I get closer. I had never killed in my life but if it's for revenge for my mother I'll do it. I put my hand over his mouth and punched the knife right through his flesh. He fell to the ground.

"This is for my mother" I say feeling tears falling down my cheek. Remembering so many things and wishing I could protect her before.

I'm sorry mom.
