Prom Night

Alyson POV

"Why am I even going if i have no date ?" I ask Jenna that has been going through my closet trying to find a dress for me to take to prom.

Jenna has been pleading me to go to prom but I've said no because I'll be leaving Jason alone. I've been going over there ever since he got back from the hospital. It's been 4 weeks since he got back but he still needs to rest.

"So? Even if you have no date you still have me to hang out with at prom" she says throwing my clothes on my bed.

"But I'll be third wheeling you and Tyson" I say laying in my bed looking up at the ceiling.

"You're not going to be here on prom night" she says

"I'm not I'm gonna be over at Jason's" I say

"He's going to be fine on his own for one night" she says looking at a dress from different angles and having different expressions on her face whether it's good or not.

"But what if-"

"No ifs! This is your night to look good" she says and deciding that the dress isn't good enough so she throws it on the bed with the rest.

My phone rings, it was laying on my bed and I immediately grab it and look at the caller id. It's Jason. I quickly answer.

"Hey!" I say

"Hey sunshine" he says

"What's up?"

"Are you going to prom?"

"No"

"Why?"

"Because I'm going to your place instead"

"No you're not"

"Why?"

"Alyson"

"Yeah"

"Look outside your window" he says

With confusion I do what he says. I walk towards my window and see him standing there with a big poster saying, Will you go to prom with me ? A big smile formed across my face. I unlock my window to open it. I slide it up looking down at him.

"Will you go to prom with me?" He shouts and smiles up at me.

"Jason I- ....Yes!" I shout back

I walk out my room downstairs and out my front door. He was still there with the poster and flowers on his hands.  I run towards him and hug him he lets go of the poster and puts his arms around my waist.

"Sorry I'm a little late" he whispers in my ear

"Not at all" I say

We both back away and I look at him.

"And these are for you" he says handing me the roses he got me.

"Thank you" I say smiling

"Um..I don't want to ruin the moment but if you want her by the time prom starts then you'll have to give us some time to let her get dressed" Jenna says she's standing by the front door.

"Yeah sure" he says to her and looks down at me.

Wow he's really tall.

"I'll pick you up at 7 alright princess" he says and kisses my forehead.

"Okay" I gently smile
