My Brother's Best Friend

Chapter 4

[[Surprises]]

She didn't do anything for a full minute and I began to get nervoius again. I swallowed and plucked up the courage to use my voice.

"Happy Birthday Kat." Her eyes got bigger like I'd just confirmed who I was.

"Ahh!" She screamed and jumped on me. I moved the chocolates out of the way just in time. "Oh my goodness!" She squealed. Well, this went better then I'd planned. That counts for something right?

"I can't believe you actually came back!"

"Hey, I promised I'd be back for your birthday." She let go smiling from ear to ear. She turned around to my brother and kissed his cheek.

He looked slightly shocked at first but I swear I saw him blushing slightly. Before I could process the thought any longer Kat was dragging me by the hand.

"Come on. Tina's missed you just as much as I have!" She squealed excitiedly.

I couldn't rid the grin on my face. I hadn't realised how much I'd missed Kat and her craziness, not to mention Tina.

"Tina she's back!"

"Whitney Houston!" I heard Tina saying.

"What? No." Kat said confused. "Sophie." She tugged on my hand bringing me front and centre. Tina looked taken back a bit before running at me.

"Your back!"

"Ahhh!" I said staggering backwards trying not to fall from the impact.

"I don't believe it!" She screamed.

"Surprise." I smiled.

"Spain sounds amazing." Tina sighed dreamily.

"Yeah, it was beautiful." I admitted. "But, it's good to be back."

"So your friends are coming in a week?"

It's been three weeks since I've been back and I've spent most of that time relaxing or hanging out with Kat and Tina.

We were currently sat in a small cafe in the middle of town. I continued to fill them in about Spain as they filled me in on their lives. I nodded to answer Kat's question as I added sugar into my hot chocolate.

"Yeah, you'll love them." I smiled just thinking about how much they'd drool over Wilson.

"Shame Kat has a boyfriend." Tina said grinning. I'd already told her about Wilson, Kerri and Andy and she was more then eager to met them-Wilson more like. I giggled.

"Whatever, it's just means I can't touch. Aint gunna stop me from looking." Kat said wiggling her eyebrows. "Sepically when it comes hot spanish boys."

"Hey sis." Matt said walking over and standing next to Kat's chair, opposite me.

"Hey bro......jackass." I added when I saw Zac next to him. He smirked narrowing his eyes before letting his face go neutral.

"Sooooo..." My brother dragged.

"What do you need?" I sighed.

"Nothing, actually I just wanted to tell you that your friend, Kerri phoned. She said that they're coming a few days earlier."

"Oh, ok thanks."

"Annnnndd..." He carried on. "I give you permission to enter the music room." Kat nearly spat out the mouthful of water she'd just taken, even I looked taken back abit.

"Seriously?" I raised an eyebrow. He's never used to let me in their when we were little. He always used to say I was too young to be in there when really he just wanted it for him and his band.
