Saito's Pov:

Tears fall from my eyes as a grasp what just happened.

I knew it....I knew she was gonna hate me. She could never forgive me for it...I was playing with her, but I wasn't able to tell her that it wasn't fully true. I was at first but...now I really ment what I was doing and saying. I fell in love with her. I love her...I want to keep her safe...

"Keep her safe, " I whisper out loud. I make up my mind and chase after her.

After some time, I come to a fallen figure.

Seina!

I run over to her side then pick her up in my arms. I lay her head on my shoulder, and I feel her snuggle a little closer before opening her eyes. I hold my breath and wait for her to lash out but...she never does.

"Seina?" I ask in a whisper. She closes her eyes once more then shifts her body to where one leg is on either side of me. My heartbeat speeds up, and she opens her eyes and stares into mine.

"Saito...I-I don't hate you....in fact it's the complete oppo-"

"Sei I love you. I've been in love with you. That's why I told you what I was ordered to do. I wanted to tell you that, even if that's what I was doing at first, now everything I do or say is my true feelings."

She smiles brightly up at me through tears then says, "I'm in love with you, too. I certainly have been for a while."

I smile down at her then rest my forehead on hers. Seina pouts then tilts her head while leaning forward. I get it then lean forward while closing my eyes. Something moist and soft touch my lips, and a smile makes it's way onto my face. When we pull away, my face burns and hers looks like mine feels.

An idea strikes me, and I puzzle over it. She gives me a questioning look while I frown.

"Sei....I think we need to get you to Heaven."

"Wh-what?" She asks with wide eyes.

"You need to speak with God to resolve all this."

"But he needs proof that I didn't do it!"

"And I have that proof. Sei, the person who framed you was Satan with another angel. He needed a fallen angel to destroy heaven, so they choice you because they thought that you could be manipulated easily. Unfortunately for them you aren't," I explain. She stares at me with wide eyes that soon fill with rage. Sei puffs out her cheeks as they grow red with anger.

"Come on," I say while grabing her hand and leading her to the nearest church.

Once we get there, I sigh, "go on in. I'll wait out here."

"Huh?...oh! Uh, yeah. I'll be right back."

~~Pov change: Seina~~

I walk into the church, and my wings spring to life involuntary. I cringe as I notice the raven color that has engulfed them.

I hate being a fallen angel...

I look up then around at my surroundings.

As beautiful as a church should be....

God, do you know what really happened? Do you just need proof to convince the others?

I stare straight ahead and hope for a reply. And...I get one.

"You already know the answer to that, Seina."

I lift my head up then stare into God's eyes.

"You do have your wings after all. Even if they aren't white."

"Wait wha-oh!"

I can't believe I forgot that he removed my wings!

I smile at him then bow. When I stand back up, God asks, "how about you invite Saito in?" My eyes widen, but I don't question him. I walk over to the doors, open them, then gaze at a confused Saito. I hold out my hand, and he hesitantly takes it. I slowly pull him inside, and...surprisingly he walks right in.

Saito's black wings open, and he cringes just like I did. His gaze moves to God, and he shrinks back with wide eyes. I squeeze his hand in reassurance. He squeezes my hand back as he meets my warm gaze. Saito smiles gently, and I return it.

"You two have been through a lot. Now, Saito and Seina, come with me to heaven. Let's prove your innocence."
