1 Year Later...

"You're fired."

"No you aren't." I looked slowly towards Darren, his arms folded.

"Okay..." The three people I was planning on firing thanked Darren, giving me side glances as I stood up slowly from my seat.

I walked out, going to the coffee machine.

I stared at it, seeing the thing empty.

I watched as Jules poured the coffee into my cup, then placed the kettle back in its place. He grabbed the vanilla creamer and then squeezed so much inside the coffee was beige.

He grabbed a straw and stirred it, then turned towards me.

"I did it." I looked, seeing there wasn't a drop of mess in the table. I really need to buy some Keurig's and put some on this level.

I shook, turning away as I rushed back to my office. I looked at my desk, seeing so many papers that I already went through. Most are useless and it makes me wonder why I don't have an assistant.

Need someone to shred these damn papers.

As I sit down I watch Ian shred paper, and he starts bobbing to a beat while shredding. I start to kinda hear a beat while he shreds and I don't mind...

Kind of.

It's...kind of annoying!

"You're having way to much fun with that." I say, and he smiles as he continues to shred.

I find myself sliding the papers off my desk, scattering everywhere. A big mess on the ground, like my life.

I looked at my finger, seeing a paper cut embedded into my skin.

I sucked on it, looking at it once more as I saw it healed.

My mind blanked, seeing myself walk to my desk as I sat down... This chair is so comfy.

I laid back in it, sighing in content.

"Ms. Doyle?" I look, seeing a woman appear from around my door. Looking at me with so much fear as this building reeks of it for me.

"What?"

"You have a meeting in three." She slips away, and I sigh. I stand, grabbing my iPad and ApplePen as I leave my office. I walk to the fifth room, opening it as I see the long office table meet me. People sitting in their chairs as they look up at me.

Their eyes quickly look away, and I go to the head seat. Once I'm there, I sit, looking at everyone as they shifted.

"This meeting was called by someone. I know I didn't, do stand up and show yourself." I bark, a man standing up slowly.

"I called it."

"Clearly."

"Um...I called this meeting because I have recommendations for this business-."

I stand, walking around everyone as I went to the door.

"Wait! I'm not done-."
