Tired Tipsy Tops
Neighbouring ducks and geese honked loudly. Little birds chirped and tweeted. As he was passing by the lake, Takatsu was tweeting as well, on his phone.
He was almost home. He checked the time, just like he did every time he passed by the pond on his way home.
Yep, he was at the exact right spot at the exact time as always. Everything was the same every day, as it should be.
However, Takatsu was starting to get tired even from his short walk. He had stayed up quite late the night before doing some last minute studying before the examination.
Takatsu squeezed his eyes shut for a bit while he continued walking. His eyelids felt heavy and weighted, and it felt relieving to rest them for a bit.
Knowing he couldn't walk for too long with his eyes closed without bumping into something or getting hit by some car, Takatsu forced his tired eyes open.
