Chapter 9
Scary Speaking Situation
The bright sun shone through the living room windows just beside the couch that Takatsu had fell asleep on. Morning rays poked him awake and birds chirped as if to say "rise and shine, sleepyhead!"
The furry creature he had rescued the night before was now sound asleep in Takatsu's messy nest of hair and when he finally got it off of his head, the ferret fell to the hardwood floor with a thump.
"Aw come on, how's a ferret to rest with you throwing me off your head, huh?"
Takatsu spun around, eyes open wide, "Who said that?"
"Me, of course. Silly human." says the voice coming Takatsu's feet."
